Having used various search & rescue products over the years from multiple companies, I've landed on Ortovox as my favorite. The Ortovox shovel is much lighter than other brands and compact. Their probe has a great pull handle and is wider than most, making it easy to assemble in seconds. I also like that their new beacon has voice commands and can fit easily into bib pockets.
