Features

  • 6.7 in. blade has 8.5 teeth per inch; recommended for cutting wood with a maximum diameter of 3 in.

Never knew what a sharp saw was till I got this.

I used it the day it showed up. wow! Sharp! had a tree fall during a storm, this saw was great for taking care of limbs.the handle is perfect and never slipped. I did break the blade that first day, but i was cutting a 4" branch I didn't realize had alot of tension.the blade seems to be really hard metal and doesn't take kindly to flex. REI was extremely helpful and mailed me a new one 4 days later. I can't say enough about how great a company this is. Definitely earned a long time customer and member. Thank you.

Silky "Outback" Pocket Boy

This is the best saw for backpacking that I have ever owned. It is built with a sturdy enough handle material (unlike it's predecessor) to lash it to a "pole" and make an extended pruning saw of it. Makes warm-butter-cutting of even 4 inch timber...

Perfect Gift

Bought this for my husband to replace a cheap one that broke. So far he loves it. Very strong and sharp. He will mostly use for hunting or camping purposes. He did say it’s a bit too big for him to want to take backpacking, so I might have to get a smaller one for backpacking.

Chews thru wood!

This saw is great. It saws thru wood easily and allows me to process it quickly with little effort and light enough to where I don't feel burdened by carrying it in my backpack. Its helped me clear smaller downed trees and branches off bigger trees to help maintain several trails early in the season. I would recommend even if your not a fan of campfires if at least to help maintain your local remote getaways!.

Perfect size foldable saw for stashing in my hunting pack. Used it to clear small limbs and branches during bowhunting season. Blade is very sharp and sturdy! Grip feels comfortable with good texture and nonslip.
