Not a good fit
The material is great on these shorts, as well as the many pockets. However, the fit is totally off. Unless you are a straight or slim build, these shorts cut you in all the wrong places. The area under waistband and above crotch puffs out and is too large, and the side of thigh is very tight. I am an hourglass shape and would not recommend these to someone of that body type. I am a size large in most shorts, occasionally sizing down to M. Needing an XL in these because of the thigh circumference is stupid. They ride up as soon as I start walking, and so I will be returning.
Great shorts!
I’m a medium-sized athletic woman and I got the large because I don’t like when shorts are too tight. Glad I did. Really like them!
Boxy high-viz shorts
I like these because I like all the high-viz strips for night running. They do have slightly a boxy fit which other reviewers mentioned. I am 5'11 and 167 pounds. I wear a large in my Brooks spandex shorts so I got a large, but these are a bit too baggy for me. Normally I would just cinch the drawstring to account for that, but the elastic string in the waistband is not easily secured (at least not for easy untying). I still like them but just something to be aware of.
Best Running Shorts Ever
These are hands down the best running shorts ever!! They give plenty of room in the places needed and they look fantastic. I wear them to play tennis as well and look great. So comfortable, lightweight, don’t even notice them being on yet provide great coverage and they don’t “ride up”. Best shorts and worth the money.
Great running shorts!
I love how comfortable these are! They sit perfectly on my waist, which is a nice change from other running shorts I have to pull down lower so they cover my butt. Great coverage and the liner is added reassurance. There's also a zip pocket for keys. Will be buying more, but hoping for other color options!
Two Pairs for Me
I purchased one pair and then ordered a second pair. Fit is pretty good but they do tend to ride up my inner thighs a bit so I don't wear for long distance runs but will for a 5K or at gym on threadmill.
Nice to have shorts with the reflective so I can wear during the night runs. They sit a little lower than I would prefer. They are perfectly lightweight and soft material.
Not a fan
I had to return these...the high waste sits in a really uncomfortable spot. I am having a hard time finding a pair of shorts I like due to everything being high wasted.
great shorts
The fit is perfect, the shorts couldn't be more comfortable, and I love the reflective stripes. Perfect for runs in low light and in the rain when everything's gray.
Cute but run small
I like the style, but run small. Keeping in case I lose a little weight in the summer. I'm a 6-8 and have plenty of other size M shorts/pants/tights from Brooks.
