Amazing!!!! We made our first
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing!!!! We made our first couple pizzas over the weekend and all I can say is wow!!! What a great product
Gas burner
Heats consistently. Easier to maintain heat. Extremely satisfied
Perfection!
I love the option of gas. The flame is constant and the pizze are coming out perfect! I’ve had successful parties where my friends likes the results so much they went and purchased one. So thank you
Consistent.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely a must have if you are making multiple pizzas and have hungry kids waiting. A much more manageable method to maintain heat.
Gas burner upgrade
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Using wood was fun but the gas burner makes control so much easier! Glad I got this.
Gas burner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While the gas burner is very easy to use I have two problems with it 1. Conflicting instructions on the use of the smoke stack. One instruction book said to remove the stack and insert the plug while another one said remove the plug and insert the stack. One book was the oven instructions and the other book was the gas insert instructions. I finally asked another user and used the stack 2. All configurations result in excessive soot. Hard to clean. The flame is not blue as it should be. It is orang/yellow indicating poor combustion. It does heat to 600+° I will use it but I prefer using wood/ charcoal.
Way better than wood, difficult dial to reach
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been struggling for some time the wood burning Ooni (low temperature) and finally decided to buy the gas insert. It is definitely a game changer. The Pizza cooks much more evenly across the top. and require less constant turning. I have still not been able to get the stone up to 900 (or even close for that matter) but I have not experimented yet with things like making sure the stone is totally dry, and running the oven for 30 mins prior to cooking the first pie. Either way, the gas is way better. One issue is that the control is difficult to reach unless the back of the oven is easily accessible (which mine is not when it is in its normal location) and one is prone to burning one's arm in the reach.
Love our Ooni pizza oven!!
We are having so much fun baking pizza in our Ooni oven both with the gas burner and alternating using wood pellets. Having a home outdoor pizza oven allows for experimentation and it's been delicious and a wonderful family activity.
I personally love the gas
I personally love the gas over wood or coal. It's basically a giant jet engine heating up the oven. No fighting with fires or adding fuel just turn on and let it rip
Eh. It’s fine.
It’s okay. Easy enough to set up. The heating from the top down is problematic for getting the crust fully cooked. I don’t love this pizza oven.
