Poor fit in torso

These are pretty well thought out bibs in general. Good materials, pocket and zipper placement (I do wish they had full length side zippers), but the torso fit is a mess. I'm 5'11" 165 lbs, 40" chest, 32" waist, 39.5" hips, and 23" thighs, and I ordered a Medium. The legs fit pretty well (I wouldn't want them smaller) but there's huge gaps at the top of the bib in the torso. I could probably carry a growler of beer in the material fold in my back. It seems like these were designed to wear a couple puffy jackets inside the bibs for someone at the upper range of the chest and waist measurements to have a proper fit. The way I layer and delayer when touring doesn't jive with this, and I really want a nice tight seal around my torso so I don't fill them with powder (kinda the entire point of bibs). Part of the problem I think is the upper hem; it's straight stitched and doesn't allow the stretch fabric to do its job. Also, there's just way too much fabric there. I think the mediums would easily fit someone with a 45-46" chest. Since these don't fit me properly, I exchanged them for a Skytour Ascentshell Jacket, which is excellent.

Great Bibs

I'm 6'0" and 180 lbs, I went with a large and it was the right call. I don't know how great these will fit around the chest if you are a bigger person. I typically wear a tee-shirt and light long sleeve base layer for the upper body and a single lower body base layer. Use - resort and backcountry snowboarding Warmth - warm even in neg temps with a single base layer (joggers) Durability - no issues, I have not encountered some of the issues with the zippers that others have Useability - pockets are large and well placed. The chest pocket is great for either a phone or a beacon depending on where you like to keep your safety equipment

Very well designed for function

These are about the best ski bibs that I have had. They design is very thoughtful. Zippers make easy work of bathroom bodily functions. They even put a bean pocket in the bib that is actually perfect for where I want my beacon. They aren't too thick - I typically get too hot. I don't think they are goretex but in a recent wet ski outing they dried just as fast as my gore materials. One thing I might say is if you are accustomed to arcteryx or something similar the zippers, materials, and fit and finish just aren't up to that level. I don't think this is a bad thing though, it's just a noted difference.

Solid bibs for the backcountry

Great product. These bibs flex wonderfully and make ski kick turns and alpine scrambles very comfortable. They breathe great and I never feel swampy in them. I do have one small cut in them from a rocky limestone scramble, but considering the application I think they are plenty durable. The pockets are the best design of any ski pants I've owned. SIZING: I am 6'1" 195lbs with thighs like tree trunks and the Large fits well. If I were doing less active skiing (riding chair lifts) I would prefer sizing up to XL so I could put a thicker layer under, but for what I do the L fits great with merino wool thermals.

Crazy breathable and comfortable and still haven’t wetted down

6’2” 215lb in XL Got these babies for winter ‘25 tours around the PNW and ended up just wearing them for my all time resort kit too. Pros: Most comfortable bibs I’ve ever worn they feel more like climbing pants or Prana yoga pants and not at all plastic or swooshy. Light and breathable but still haven’t gotten wet baselayers despite the deep powder we’ve been blessed with so far this season. Con: my haunch size necessitates an XL in most bibs but the chest size bunches in the back even with the elastic panel. Khaki was the only available color at the time but doesn’t seem like the highest contrast color in the event of an emergency. At least there are black gaiter panels on the cuff.

Good in form and Function, but lacking durability.

These are my go to everyday ski bibs. I think they're great and do what they are intended to do quite well. They keep me warm and dry on all but the wettest days, when they will eventually soak through. Granted they aren't designed to hold up to super serious weather, and the comfort and breathability is the tradeoff. Touring is where they really shine. Unfortunately I can only give this product 3 stars because the zippers are frustratingly low quality. I'm on my second pair in 2 seasons and the plastic pocket zippers are rapidly degrading, which was my reason for returning the first pair. I've probably got 20 days on them this season and the zippers are already missing teeth. Once they bust, snow gets into the pockets on deep days, and soaks you from the inside out. Not ideal! Unfortunately zipper quality is an issue that I've had with multiple OR products. Please add a more durable zipper on the next version of these!

A Super-Breathable Waterproof Softshell

Skied multiple days in temps from -10 to 20 and was surprised by how well this bib balances breathability and waterproofness. I run super hot but the bibs are so breathable I barely had to use the vents. Meanwhile, the shell also held up to snow, deep powder, (and a coffee I spilled in my lap!). At 5'11" and 190 I'm right between a medium and a large. Ended up going with the large because it gave me more mobility in the thighs and crotch and the straps on the medium were maxed out. The material is super stretchy though so it's more personal preference for more room than it is the medium being too small. A great bib for folks who go hard and run hot. Especially stoked to wear these this spring!

Bibs all day

Previously I was using a standard pant as my go to for touring. Too many over the ski tumbles had me looking for a bib option. I was a little worried about heat buildup but overall the setup works awesome. Pockets are all in the right place and freedom of movement was perfect. Extremely happy with the purchase. The only real challenge a run into a sizing as I am right in the middle between medium and large. Leg length is correct on the medium but they're a little snug. The large fits better for my stocky build but the legs are a little long. Overall I'm extremely happy with the purchase.

Good until it's wet.

I really liked how breathable and flexible this bib was. That for me was a huge selling point compared to other brands bibs as I really don't like my clothes interfering with my range of motion. It keeps you warm as well, but the problem I encountered with this bib is it's not very waterproof. It keeps water out just fine..... Right up until you sit down on a rock or ski lift, at which point, water gets pushed right through fabric and now your base layers are wet and now the whole setup starts to get really cold. I could only recommend if you don't plan on sitting down the entire day.

Great ski bibs.

Wow. Like these so much decided to leave a review. Have only used them for 5 days so far, they still look brand new. OR absolutely nailed the fit for me which is impressive, I'm 5'6" and 160# and everything always too long and baggy. These have space, but not too baggy or loose size medium, length is perfect in the short inseam for me. I wish both the upper pockets had zippers, but the Ascentshell fabric feels great and the stretch is awesome. Scuff guard feels very substantial compared to some other brand pants I have. Overall a huge win, I'm probably going to buy the jacket too.
