Staying dry w/ this pair of Pearl iZumi
was out riding knew it would be some showers forecasted no problem but suddenly for about 30 min the skies opened up and was riding is a full on squal. it was coming down by the gallons and these pants held up. no drips nothing I was so impressed, getting a 2nd pair. I am not a big Zumi fanboy because I love my Zoics but this pair impressed me so much I had to write a review. stay dry out there
Magic fabric!
I wish I could submit a picture to show you how muddy my shoes and bike were, but the pants were spotless. Shedded water and mud like magic. I’d go a little smaller on waist (I’m a 35 & 36 was too big even when sinched. Pretty warm as well, def stops wind without being thick or bulky. Only complaint is they need belt loops. Maybe a bit baggie at the top unless you are an Oompa Loompa.

take note of sizing. I got 30 inch waist in these and they are even a bit big. I'm a 31 or 32 waist in all other pants. So order down accordingly. Good fit given that. 30 inch waist and the inseam is right (usually I'm 32" inseam when measured). comfortable, stretchy, not baggy. Fits over chamois and knee pads. good water repelancy in the thunderstorm I wore them in during a walk to test.

I bought these pants to keep the chill off and they proved to be a great deal. Fit is good for my 6 ft, 180 lb frame.
