Honestly one of my essentials
This specific tape is incredible. It is so rigid, has literally zero stretch to it, so you can get a perfect tape job and it won't get messed up throughout your entire session. This is the only tape in my experience that is this rigid. Honestly a step above the rest.
Worked
I’m an indoor climber who hasn’t had a reason to use the tape until today. The day before I went climbing one of my cat’s scratched my fingertip. I didn’t want to get chalk on the wound so I put some tape over it. The tape was tough and I had to ask the front desk for scissors to cut it. The tape doesn’t feel sticky or stretchy but it is, and the first two digits of my finger had no issues bending. It also wasn’t extremely slick, so I still had enough grip to warrant using my pointer finger. The tape also breathes really well. My finger wasn’t sticky or sweaty when I took off the tape. I got chalk on it, slid down the wall with my fingers on the textured plastic, and picked at it a couple times. The tape was not affected by any of my abuse. I never got it wet, so I don’t know how it does with sweat or water. Tbh, I forgot I had it on and came home with the tape still on. It came off without any adhesive residue or pain, but it did leave a blue mark which was easy to wash off.
