Absolutely loved this sleeping bag. Easy to fit anywhere. Great for kayak camping, backpacking or any outdoor sleepover. Extremely comfortable. Everything you could ask for. Our weather was to the warmer side, but I didn’t get hot. The bag kept me cool all night. Next up, cooler weather. Cheers to life outside in comfort.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Greatly convenient packed. Size-wise are perfectly fit me. The only thing I have issue is it’s quite slippery and keep sliding from my TAR sleeping bad. I’m just a beginner so I’m still trying to explore. I would recommend this product definitely.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sleeping bag is amazing! I absolutely love the womens specific design, which is also great for side sleepers. This is the best sleep I’ve had in the backcountry in 10 years, and paired with the womens specific sleeping pads (I use the Ether Light XT) I find that I am way more comfortable in the hips and legs than with unisex or mens sleeping setups. If I’d change anything it would be to add a bigger baffle around the face opening, since sometimes cold air slips. I got the 15 degree and it packs down small and is very light for such a warm bag! Haven’t had a very cold night in it yet but I think it’ll perform nicely when the weather starts to bite more
I bought the Flame 3 sleeping bag, comfort temperature -4°C for backpacking in the summer: I spent a month in the Swiss and Slovenian Alps (June/July) and a month in Iceland (August). Every single night that was below 10°C I froze in this sleeping bag. I had to use the silk sleeping bag, wear Merino underwear and usually also the down jacket so that I could sleep. This was truly the worst purchase of my life. I have a Marmot sleeping bag with a comfort temperature of -4°C in which I have never felt cold, even at sub-zero temperatures. These sleeping bags are two different worlds. I would not recommend this Flame 3 sleeping bag!
After hiking the JMT twice and lots of other backpack trips with my old down bag over the past 10 years, I relented and upgraded to the Flame IV. Now I am not the gear head who spends hours comparing weights and volumes, but this bag is worth the money. I am impressed both by the weight and the tiny stuff sack it fits into. It has really presented, for me, a giant leap in sleeping bags. I took it on a solo shakedown trip to the Zirkels in September where it got into the 30's- and I was plenty cozy. And yes, I am hardly ever too warm sleeping. I would highly recommend this bag for its weight, superior loft, and ability to be compressed to next to nothing. No more sleeping bag taking up half the pack.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love love love this sleeping bag. It's beyond comfortable. I'm had some of my most comfortable nights of sleep (not just camping, but in general) in this bag. I have the 25 degree version and it definitely hasn't disappointed when it comes to keeping me warm in cold temperatures. The ultralight spec is also very appreciated -- this bag comes in handy when backpacking because it's super light -- a lot lighter than the ultra quilts that many recommend. Personally, I move a lot in my sleep so I prefer the mummy option to the quilt. 5/5 stars, highly recommend.
I've used it a few times in cold Colorado summer weather and it certainly keeps me warm enough for a 25 degree bag. It's light! It's puffy...BUT you need to shake it out a lot and let it sit for a long time in order for the feathers to fill out. Because of the white cover, you can even see the "cold" spot where there are no feathers until you puff up the bag. The bag barely fits in the compression sack. Therefore, I use a different compression sack. Sea to Summit should change the size of the one they send you. Finally, the storage sack is way too small for a bag like this which should be stored in a larger sack. Overall, it is a really nice bag. There are a few features that need adjusting. You will stay warm and cozy though!

I use the flame liner together with the flame 15 as a cold weather system. It’s a compromise for me - I’m a very cold sleeper, often out in winter temperatures, and nobody actually makes a decent winter sleeping bag specifically for women. The flame 15 is one of the best bags I’ve tried so far for warmth to weight. However, I’m not big on the nylon on nylon (sleeping bag, flame liner, puffy jacket) in winter as it’s unbelievably noisy. I hope sea to summit will come out with a proper women’s winter bag that isn’t too heavy soon.
