Great paddle

I could easily be out all day with this paddle. Love the fact that it is adjustable and the ergonomic shape is wonderful on my hands. Definitely recommend.

A good mid-range paddle

This is a good mid-range paddle. The mid-sized blade is neither strictly low angle or strictly high angle. It's heavier than some, but lighter than others and it's not a budget buster. However, I am not convinced Accent's Advantage Grip Technology is quite as revolutionary as they say it is. The grips are comfortable for me, but they come from the factory positioned (I assume) for the average size paddler, and may not be right for those with narrow or wide shoulders. Accent says the grips can be moved with an air compressor, but that doesn't sound like a DIY task for many of us.

Expected a LOT more for the Price

I am an avid kayaker and have owned many paddles. The connection between the two paddle halves wore out within several months of owning it, and the kayak now separates into two pieces while in use. The rubber handle grips also don't stay in place, and slide up and down the shaft once it gets a little wet. I would definitely NOT recommend this paddle.

Expected better for the price

Purchase this as a back-up paddle. My wife wanted to try it out, but after four short fresh water paddles, it would no longer click together rendering it useless. Washing it out and drying with compressed air made no difference.Should have just bought an Aqua Bound Carbon or Hybrid in the first place. Buy once, cry once I think the saying goes!

Great bent shaft paddle

This is a great paddle if you want the more expensive bent shaft paddle but low on funds and want similar benefits. My main goal was having an ergonomic paddle and the accent hybrid works great for that! Very easy to use and has great durability. Had mine a year so far and especially love having it on longer trips (3+ hrs). Hope to enjoy it many more years to come

Ergonomic design

Purchased this paddle for it’s ergonomic design and was not disappointed. Other family members owned the Werner brand with the straight shaft and it’s a good paddle but harder on the wrists. Weight is about the same. Found this to be a comfortable paddle to use for our few hour paddles around the lake.

This is an excellent paddle for touring. It is light and and easily adjustable on the fly for tired wrists. The paddle is very strong and should last years! I highly recommend it!
