Bowls on Parade
This bowl works great. It can fit plenty of whatever it is you want to eat. Oatmeal: No problem! Soup: Forget about it! Ice cream: You bet! This bowl is hard to beat!! If it is edible, I’ll bet you you can eat it out of this bowl!!
Loud!
While these bowls look nice the enamel coating plus the metal silverware leads to the lovely sounds of nails on a chalk board. If you don’t mind the scrapping sounds or won’t wake someone up with them then they are pretty decent. However, sound proofing them while driving can be hard! Finally, the paint around the edge did begin to chip after a couple months but nothing major.
Bowls are good.
"Not used to outdoor cooking, but as a chef, white plates and black plates are a statement. I put these through the ringer to be scratched badly and stained (curries and red wine sauces) and it came out well and unscratched. I don't like that its 2 plates for its price, but if you are looking for plating and decorating showcasing, get this. Don't use it as your main plate to eat off of." This was my sentiments for the plates... and the bowls is still the same result. Love the product, wish it was sold the same but more in quantity.
Insufficiently sturdy for outdoor use
It's pretty, but the enamel is not sturdy enough for outdoor use. If you read the description that way, it pretty much implies that you have to treat this gently. Because what happens is that if the enamel gets scratched, the steel inside isn't stainless and immediately starts to rust. I wouldn't recommend this.
Cute and vintage-y!
We use these bowls for car camping (we have the mint green color). They hold food and are durable! There is a bit of roughness to the texture, but it doesn't cause issues. If you put really hot food in them, watch your hands, the bowls get really hot!
Minty. Four Place Setting For Car Camping.
Bought a four place setting. Works great car camping. Wanted to upgrade from a cheapie set. Also bought four TOAKS Titanium 3-Piece Cutlery Sets to go with. Kudos Barebones.
Perfect for camping
The bowl is perfect for soup and noodle dish and perfect size for camping! The bowl can be hot, so be careful!
