Good for hanging and leaving

I was excited to use these Apollo straps with my supernest hammock. I had been using Atlas XL straps, and I also own Helios straps. These straps are definitely beefy. Even though they are rated to the same weight as Atlas, you will be much more confident in that weight rating with these. However, they are heavier and bulkier. There was one major downside I’ve found. I can’t adjust the strap length while the strap is under tension. So, unless they loosen up later, I have find the right strap length without the hammock attached. This is fine if you plan to leave your hammock between the same two trees, but I like to move my hammock around. In summary, I think I’ll keep them but beware of this significant downside.
