Seems only designed to work with round seat posts

I got a Burley Travoy trailer, which I love. It came with the Quick Hitch. I imagine it would work fine with round seat posts. However, my Cannondale Quick bike has an aerodynamic elliptical seat post. I find it's very difficult to keep the Quick Hitch hitched to it, and it ultimately sprung after a few uses. I have converted to a fixed screwed-on hitch, and I have several, so I can keep a hitch permanently on each of my bikes.

Sturdier Hitch for Travoy

The plastic retainer swivel on my standard Travoy hitch failed. So I asked Burley customer service if the quick release hitch is more robust. They said it is. So I decided to try it Haven’t had very long but it sure seems to be sturdier. And it has the bonus of being readily moved from one bike to another. REI sale was a bonus too.

A narrower option

This fit the bill because the quick clamp is narrower than the standard bolt on clamp.
