Bugaboo Versus Titanium snow pants

I'm a bigger guy on a snowboard. Titanium snow pants fit me perfect. Bugaboo are on the tighter side so if you like skinny jeans, Bugaboo are made for you & don't get me wrong. I've been wearing Columbia snow pants sense the beginning days of snowboarding & you can shred the slopes in a pair of Bug's the same way you can with a pair of Titanium. Bug's are also good for snowshoeing & ice fishing I just hope Columbia reissues my Titanium snow pants in the fall of 2021. Stay safe out there & be nice to the skiers, they will be the one's who save you !!!

Red Lifesavers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve only had a chance to wear the pants once while snowshoeing for 6 hours. They were great, kept me warm but, more importantly they kept me dry! I accidentally stepped in a small pond up to mid-calf. No water penetrated through the pants! The elastic band with the built in gaiters didn’t leak in to the top of my waterproof boots. We get cold weather here in Idaho and the water on the outside of the pants froze very quickly. I was a few miles from a warm place. Between my Columbia down jacket and the pants I was just perfect and went a few more miles before calling it a day. I think the pants probably saved my life!

Good basic ski pants

This is similar to other columbia products with a this insulation layer and the shiny reflective lining. The XXL was huge, like all the way cranked down and still three inches of space around my waist. The XL is snug but fits. Seems like a big difference between the two. The pants are pretty straightforward. It would be nice if there were cargo pockets on the sides for things like phones and kleenex, but the front pockets are pretty deep. zippers on the legs would be nice too for venting and or for adjusting ski boots. The higher end model does have these but those don't come in short inseams.

this is disgusting

Snow pants are great, but when I tried them on, I found something in the pockets. When I opened the pockets, there was a used ski mask, presumably left by the previous customer who returned them without removing it. There was also their ski pass and a small bottle of lipstick . This is disgusting. REI, don't you inspect returned items before reselling them?

Pass on these pants

First time wearing these on the slopes, the rear pocket rips off after a fall. Certainly these were made with the intent of wearing while snowboarding. So, probably unacceptable for a pocket to rip off on day one. I would not recommend this product to anyone who has ever caught an edge.

Nice and warm ski pants

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pants are amazing! I was very surprised with adjustable waistband. It’s exactly what I needed since I’m thin but will insure that I’m able to keep the pants for many years. I’m normally a 34 length but chose the 32 since I wear with ski boots.

Cozy Pants

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these pants for my partner, and he loves them. Great snow pants for chilly winter conditions. They keep you toasty for winter activities, and they're pretty comfy for wearing casually inside too.

Men's Bugaboo IV Pant

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ski trip isn't for a few weeks however I have worn them outside to test the mobility and warmth. Both are great. These are thinner than most ski pants / bibs I've owned over the years which is exactly what I wanted, less bulk. The temp was in the 30's when I wore them and I was a bit too warm with a light base layer so I'm guessing I will be plenty warm on the slopes when the temp is dipping below 20 or so. I am 6'0'', 230. I ordered the XL Short and the fit is perfect. I like my ski pants to ride slightly higher so my boots don't shred the bottom. I would recommend.
