[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When the ventilation zipper is opened, it leaves the leg directly exposed. These pants are lightweight and clearly intended to be worn without a base layer, which makes the design choice perplexing. I am genuinely baffled as to why a ventilation system would be implemented without an integrated black mesh liner to provide airflow while maintaining coverage and modesty.
Not warm. I have owned a pair of Columbia Vertex snow pants for 12 years, they are the most comfortable and warm snow pants ever. The snow pants that Columbia makes now are trash, thin and cold. It's very disappointing.
