Grill it all!

A solid little grill! I took this on a multi day car camping trip and cooked breakfast and dinner on in each day. First day I broke the wood too large (its not a huge grill) but once I had the size figured out this grill was perfect. Light and compact, but sturdy enough to hold a full load including a cast iron pan. You cant adjust the height once its in place, but its easy enough to feed a few sticks into the fire if you need to. Worked well over the fire safe or an open fire.

Useful but difficult to feed fire

We received the grille and fire safe very recently and have only gotten to trial the system in the backyard. We used them to cook dinner and warm up on a chilly spring night. I really like the grille for its height adjustability in theory but it is harder to execute on the fly. You have to know where to set it before you put it over the fire because it is hard to do in place. Pros: Adjustable height, moderately easy to set up, easy to clean and store, large surface area Cons: Cannot adjust over fire, difficult to feed fire through base because all 4 sides have structure (lowest height would be impossible)

Perfect for camping!

You have to pair this with the wolf and grizzly fire pit. And the two make a perfect combo for car camping! It’s a bit heavy for most backpacking but would be doable. I like that it takes a few seconds to add to the fire pit. It is also adjustable to raise and lower the grill closer to the charcoal/wood.

Small grill for Quick Trips

I really enjoyed this grill! It's light weight and very well made. The machining is excellent and it is very durable. Set up needs to be reviewed before first use, as learning how to use the support bar is critical for heavier items and practicing adjusting the grill once or twice doesn't hurt either! I used this in conjunction with the Wolf and Grizzly Fire Safe (read review of that separately) and in a standard campground fire pit with a 12" lodge cast iron pan. It held the weight of the heavy cast iron like a champ and cooked zucchini strips and turkey burgers in short order. I found it relatively easy to adjust height on the fly but recommend a pair of thick work gloves so you don't get burned. If you want to make eggs in a pan while backpacking or cook up some burgers/veggies while car camping (and don't want to bring your whole camp kitchen set up), this has you covered.

My new favorite grill

I'm a big fan of this grill. I had bought several other compact grills before that had some limitations that just made them frustrating. This grill has multiple height options (others might just have one), has an efficient packing design (others pack flat and take up a large area), and even has a small tool to make cleaning the grate far easier (scrubbing isn't fun). This handled cooking for two people pretty easily. Four or more just requires more time.

Great grill for one or two!

Have used this a couple of times now. Once over charcoal and once over firewood to cook dinner. I like the fact you can adjust the height. It can be a little tricky if you have to adjust it while cooking as you need something to protect your hands. It is easier to adjust with another pair of hands to hold it steady. We love how it rolls and stores in its own case. This combined with the fire pit makes a great combination for car camping with just yourself or your camping partner.

Worth it

I have been wanting this grill for a while now. In the past, I have bought cheaper versions. They were always so bulky and that’s a bit unmanageable. I finally decided to splurge and buy this grill. It is surprisingly sturdy for being so compact. I have now used it a few times in big campfires with a cast-iron skillet.

Amazing Product

I really liked how easy-to-use it is and the resistance jt has. Never gave me a problem and worked perfectly. It can be a little hard to clean but nothing out of this world. Would buy again.

Super Cool!

This was a super cool easy way to have a fire in places where building a fire is a concern. It’s a little small if you’re planning on cooking for more than 2-3 people. It is super portable but not light enough for me to take backpacking. It’s ideal for car camping or hiking when weight restrictions aren’t an issue. I did think it was designed well and definitely lived up to what it was made for.

Super rad!!

This packs super small and is awesome to carry around. The only thing is you would want to carry a different container so you don’t return it into the bag dirty if you aren’t going to clean it at the location of you bbq. Super durable I have out my yeti roadie on top of it just to test the strength and it held fine.
