Love! Be careful of sizing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 5'9 180lb w/ (semi) athletic build...44" chest 32" waist. Tried the medium first based on some of the reviews that I read, but the M is way too slim for my build. Too tight in the shoulders. If your chest is more than 40in the medium will not fit you comfortably but if you're on the slimmer side it might be ok. The large fits me perfect. Not too big as I've also read in some other reviews. Not so big that I cant wear comfortably with just a long sleeves tee, yet big enough to layer a light sweatshirt or vest under if needed. It's a lightweight jacket that keeps me pretty warm in temps in the 30s and 40s.... quickly became my go-to jacket!!

Warm & Comfortable - But Has Boxy Shape

The Columbia Men's Lake 22 Down Jacket is warm and comfortable. The design's silhouette is not fitted and has a boxy shape - think Sponge Bob - that some may find unsatisfactory. I actually don't mind the fit, since I'll be wearing a sweater underneath but it should be pointed out. The Men's Lake 22 Down Jacket also does not have the Omni-Heat feature, although it is priced higher for some reason. The other deficit is the Columbia Logo. It's screen printed on and is not quality. I'll be drawing over it with a black Sharpie to reduce its impact (my jacket is black).

Light Winter Jacket Business / Casual

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have bought two of these jackets in different colors, as they are great for the warmer WINTER days in Boston, when head cover or a hood is not needed. You can wear very little under this jacket and it still keeps you warm. I like the styling with no hood and wear it to more formal business / work events in the city. This jacket also gets complements and creates the needed confidence in appearance. It keeps you warm in at temps below 32-degrees fahrenheit and above the mid 20's and a great buy!

Disappointed

OK so let’s start off with Columbia is a great company I’ve been buying their products for years and in receiving my two jackets the material where the zipper lays is frayed like the machine ate it up the zipper still functions like it should but it looks really bad I’m really disappointed in the quality control and quality of what I got with my last purchase. The jacket looks great as long as you can’t see the zipper is definitely warm on a 33° day just wearing a T-shirt and a jacket

Nice jacket but smells bad

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just received this jacket, it fits well and i like the heat seal feature compared to all other stitch types out there on the market. It fits true to size and the cut is close to the body and overall very nice. One thing I noticed is that it smelled very bad right out of the package, unlike other down jackets that I owned, this one smelled like wet dog. I'm aware that natural down has distinct smells and after a hot cycle in the dryer with some dryer sheets, the smell went away.

Warm as you need to be!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased online as a Christmas present for myself. The shipping was a little slower than I expected, but there was holidays in there. The day that it came in was a windy cold night, so I was very eager to try, and it did not disappoint. Wind could not touch me...and it was warm. Pockets are even warm. The FIT is just how i expected it to be. Not too tight, not too loose...kind of just right. Looking forward to a long relationship with this jacket.

Lightweight and warm

Jacket is lightweight but kept me warm with a hoodie underneath. I have bought a Columbia jacket the last 3 years and this is my least favorite. The shoulders of the jacket make it look boxy even after washing and it doesn’t fit as well as others in the past. My large is huge on me so I got a medium this time and there’s barely enough room to wear a hoody under. Miss the voodoo and wish I had gone with a different jacket.

Awesome jacket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was in the market for a light down jacket and found the perfect one...Lake 22 Down Jacket. It arrived just in time when our area was hit with a cold front. The morning temps were in the mid 30s and this jacket kept me warm and toasty which fended off the cold temperatures. I highly recommend this jacket for the quality and fit and am confident I’ll have this jacket for a long time. Thank you Columbia!

Great Jacket! Just need a Medium Tall

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great Jacket. Comfortable and warm. Good quality zipper that should last. Sleeves were good length for my tall man. We had to return as it was overall too big, really needed a Medium Tall which is his usual size. Husband was bummed he couldn’t get it in a Medium Tall as it is just the jacket he was looking for. Please add Medium Tall to your tall mens outerwear.
