A nice addition to a Helinox Chair
The first time I sat in my Helinox Sunset Chair I realized it was missing a feature that was included with nearly every other camp chair I had previously owned: a cup holder. I love the form factor, minimal size, and exceptionally low weight of the chair; but adding this cup holder is a welcome addition. It is durable, wide enough to accept most bottle and cans (but not all tumblers), and keeps my refreshing drink away from my feet (or others who may be passing by) thereby preventing the all to common spill.
Convenient!
The design is very securely mounted. No movement, flopping, or dumping contents as with some chairs’ cloth can holders. Most water bottles, tumblers and mugs will fit. Wide insulated mugs and stemless wine tumblers may not fit, and it’s not tall enough to stabilize stemware. Helinox makes nice little side tables for the latter beverage choice. ;-)
The cupholder your chair needs
This is basically the perfect cupholder for my sunset chair. It holds a pint glass perfectly and seems well built. Stows onto handle of bag for chair.

Chair accessory—seemed like a good idea.
Cup holder attaches to chair. Doesn’t easily fit in chair storage sack. Convenient to have a cup holder—but the cup holder is inconvenient to pack.
