Great for Shimano hydraulic disc brakes
It is great to have Shimano mineral oil to do my own brake bleed. The bottle is smaller than I thought it would be, but it has plenty to do several bleeds. You'll also need the Shimano brake bleeding kit, and might need a few little attachments depending on if you have road disc brakes or mountain disc brakes. Note: Shimano uses this mineral oil, whereas other companies have their own mineral oil OR may use DOT Brake fluid (SRAM does), so it's really only for use in Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, unless your mechanic or professional tells you otherwise. Overall, I prefer Shimano's mineral fluid approach because it is relatively easy to use and easy to clean up.

This is what you need to bleed Shimano brakes. I purchased a size greater than I thought I would need, which turned out to be a good move.

It’s mineral oil! Real, authentic, heady, vegan, fair-trade mineral oil!!! This review only got 4 stars because it had air bubbles in it and I had to purge my brakes after I filled them.

Only needed an ounce or so to keep fluid in the line and then was able to tap out several air bubble.
