A good looking helmet that will grow with our kid
We needed to bump our little shredder up to a new ski helmet for the upcoming season. I'm impressed with the features as well as price point for a MIPs helmet. Love the vents that open and close to the keep the weather out. The inside liner is two layers, allowing one to be taken out to so the helmet can size up as the kid's head grows. We'll get a lot of use out of this. Lastly, It also looks really sharp on him.
Great helmet - but you're bound to lose goggles
This is a great helmet for fit and protection. It is warm, fits well on my 5 year old, grows with the child, fantastic. My family is all smith for all sports, but I really wouldn't buy this again. It has one major flaw. The goggle clip on the back is useless. We have lost two pairs of goggles, as it doesn't keep the goggles secure and they slip out the bottom. This is especially the case with children, who are just getting used to putting goggles on their helmet and often put them too far up or too far back and they slip off. If that's the case, the clip won't retain them.
Broke before she could even ski in it.
Same as another review, adjustment mechanism broke immediately. It was room temperature and I went to adjust it for her head size and the thin plastic snapped right in half. Would not recommend this model. My biys have adult size Smith helmets and have never had any issues. I would guess it is a design or material flaw.

A superb helmet for any growing kid.
The helmet works perfectly for my growing girl. The removable liner was perfect when she outgrew the original size and with it removed, it fits just as well. The ventilation works perfectly keeping my daughter at the right temperature this way she isn’t too cold at the top and doesn’t overheat at the bottom. A true plus is that she also likes the look of it. A superb helmet for any kid!
Awesome helmet
Solid helmet from an awesome company. IMO, Smith makes the best snow goggles and this helmet is equally as great. I love how the size is so adjustable. We bought it for my daughter who is 6 years old and she should get at least a couple seasons out of it. It will also fit my 4 year old son. It has vents that open and close on top. I would highly recommend this helmet for your child.
Well worth it
We purchased an identical helmet for our daughter two years ago (now 6) and were so pleased that we got this for our son. It's a great price considering the flexibility in sizing and the safety tech, but she finds it comfortable and warm. We paired it with Grom goggles and it's a good fit with no gaper gap.
Great product!
Great helmet but it did not fit my son so sadly had to be exchanged for another model. Smith makes wonderful helmets. My son was spared from injury due to wearing one on a recent ski trip. So we won’t hesitate to buy theirs again!

Great equipment that exceeded our expectations!!! The fit, comfort and the ventilation slide was great for our little ones learning to snowboard during the spring. Highly recommend this for the kids, ours are 8, 5, and 4.
Semble bien en général
Tout semble assez bien en général, belle couleur et style. Le fit ne semble pas parfait pour ma fille de 6 ans, je ne suis pas certain que le size soit adéquat. Par contre la ventilation semble très bien.
