Rechargeable, TriColor, many modes!
I have had a battery powered Nathan light band for a few years. I decided to send that one to our second home, and bought the USB rechargeable light band recently for myself and my running partner. It is really the best! Even lighter than my older one and I like the tricolor options - with steady illumination or (what I use) flashing mode. It has exceeded my expectations - a great choice in winter to make yourself visible early in the morning
Protects on those Early or Late Runs/Walks
I bought this well over a year ago. This light just keeps going! It does a really nice job of helping drivers and riders see me while running. Love how flexible it is and can be used in several ways.
To large for my bicepts
When tightened all the way, it slides down during the run falling to my elbows. I am a male 5'10" and 150 lbs. It only stays up when I am wearing a running jacket.
Stopped working
Like the other reviewer I enjoyed this for a while but then it stopped working unless it was plugged into the charger (battery fail?)
Not great front / back viz
Comfortable and easy to use. Wish it were a bit bigger so it would be more visible from the front and the back and not just the side you are wearing it on. Especially during the dark winter months when I am wearing bulkier shirt/jacket.
difficult to operate. frustrating.
button is hard to operate. try to switch to blinking, instead it changes colors. try to change color, changes to blinking in the wrong color. button has gotten worse over time.
Not working
I previously owned two lightbenders that I loved, but the led lights went out on them so I ordered two more to replace them. On of them does not work. It will only turn on if it is connected to the micro usb charger and the charger is plugged in despite leaving plugged in overnight to charge. I will be contacting customer support for a return. Sad that it doesn’t work properly.
Great Accessory for Night Jogging
I hate the time change as I usually jog after work and the Nathan Lightbender keeps me visible. It will last me through the winter on one charge as I only turn it on when running on the road once I hit the side walk I turn it off. I had mine for years now and it works great!!!!
Safe walking.
Use these for our almost nightly walks around our neighborhood & park. Really make us visible to passing cars, and we feel much safer with them since much of our neighborhood has no sidewalks. Recharge them every 4-6 wks, never had them die on us mid-walk.
Early riser running
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own two lightbender armbands and they sure do get the job done. I enjoy trail running early mornings during the winter down here in the southwest and these works perfectly to provide some light and safety.
