Second Pau Hana board I purchased. 3 hours out and a small bump resulted in a cracked board. On inspection, I found the bow reinforcing layers were a good 1/4" off outer skin. Really disappointed with with workmanship and quality.
Pro: Faster than I expected. Good directional stability. not much rocker. Con: Did get a 4" hairline crack within 2 weeks.
I am athletic, so I wanted a sleek board and not have to deal with inflating it. It's a fabulous board that is quick and has excellent stability. First time on it, I did not fall and paddled about 1 mile. I am really pleased!
I bought this board, but was disappointed by the weight. I get exhausted before I even get to the water. Also, I've been having difficult balancing on the board when I finally do get to the water.
Happy with the board, wrong paddle included, as they stated they don’t have. Also wait to pick board was well over 30 mins.
As a pro paddleboarder with decades of experience, the Malibu is unmatched. The rare Wood edition, reinforced with Kevlar, is stunning, limited, and always gets compliments. Rock-solid, fast, perfectly balanced—this is hands down the best board I’ve ever ridden.
