Super light, strong, and reasonably priced.
I really like my Shimano XTR spd pedals, but when I needed a pair of pedals for a second bike I didn’t want to spend $200 on the XTR again. After searching around I decided to try these. What a great decision! First of all the are light, 20 grams lighter for the pair than XTRs, 292gr vs 312gr. That’s not a big difference but usually the more you pay the lighter it gets in the cycling world. These are half the price and do not give up any performance either. They clip in easily and feel sturdy under heavy stand up climbing. I’ve ridden two full weekends on all terrain now and performance has been flawless. I would not hesitate to buy these again.
Great all around pedal
I bought these pedals for my new bike mainly because they look awesome and matched my new rig. But after a month of use they are really sweet. It took a few rides to get use to them and break them in. But now they are super easy to clip in and out of. Are comfortable after several hours. And the best looking pedals out there. They perform as good as anything I’ve ever had, if not better. They also feel light compared to my old pedals. I’m a big fan and do not plan on changing pedals anytime soon.
Falling apart
I bought two pairs of these in summer 2020. 9 months later (including winter) they're falling apart, pieces missing, presumably in the woods somewhere. They can't seem to handle any impacts to rocks. And now they're dangerous because I can't clip my feet out dependably. I can turn my foot 90 degrees and still be locked in - bruises on my sides to prove it. Throwing these and buying Shimano pedals. So much for saving a few bucks.
MTB pedals
I choose this over the xtr, they are lighter
Great pedals!
I got these to replace my look x-track garbage pedals that lasted a single season before the bearings disintegrated. Anyway, so far after maybe 100 miles of single track I could not be happier. My cleats find the clips really easily on uphill starts and every "oh $#!+" moment I have been able to pop out very easily. I have bashed a bunch of rocks with them too as I always do where I ride and they are up to the punishment, so far. I also have Kashima Coat front, rear and dropper so adding more gold is a no-brainer.
No way! Junk!
I purchased these from REI a couple years ago. They had a bad habit of easily releasing the clear at the worst possible time. I tightened the tension to its max. New cleats. Nope! They let the clear go way to often. The other brand I usually use never do. Then one day they let my cleat go and the mechanism had failed on one side of the right pedal. So my opinion….they look cool but highly don’t recommend. Unless you’re just a casual easy does it mountain bike I’d stick with you know who….
Peloton Upgrade
I didn't like the pedals that came with my Peloton so these were a great replacement.
Love these pedals
I've used the oil slick version of the pedals for a few seasons now and have nothing bad to say about them. I've used them mostly for mountain biking and a little bit of road biking. They are have survived plenty of pedal strikes and the abuse of jumps and rock gardens. I use them with my Shimano ME3 mountain bike shoes and it provides enough support for my feet. Would highly recommend
Perfect for gravel bike use! Not a platform pedal.
A very good pedal with a nice all black finish. Release spring is a bit tight when using the first few times, but that is to be expected. Minimalistic design without a platform design with enough spindle length to keep your shoe from rubbing on the crank arm. Got this on sale which put it within the same price range as Shimano middle end pedals.
Ouch
first pair of clipless pedals . i've only fallen over once because I forgot my feet have to twist to get out of them . It happens . the pedals work great .
