Great upgrade
I bought this as an upgrade from the paddle that came with my board. Well worth the investment. Lever lock makes for quick adjustment. The added height, shaft stiffness, and blade size greatly improved performance and my experience on the board. At 6'6", this paddle is better than my previous but still not long enough. While this paddle breaks down small enough to fit in my pack, I question how/why this is a "3-piece" paddle. Pulling out the lever-lock portion creates an extra piece but only saves a few inches in overall length of the packed bundle. The blade segment takes up the most space.
Worth every penny
This is an amazing paddle - Glad I spent the money. I had been using family members gear to SUP and this is a noticeable upgrade.
