These socks are perfect in every way. They are not itchy, they are not too big, they are not too small, they do not make my feet sweat, they do not ride down. I wear a size 8.5 shoe, and I wear a Medium in Darn Tough socks. (I haven't bought a pair of Darn Toughs in nearly a decade, thats how good they are - and I'm happy the new ones are still just as perfect).
I have a lot of darn tough socks but I especially like the height of these. They’re great for hiking, skiing and whatever outdoor activity you’re doing! They’re also super soft and hold up well. To prolong their life, highly recommend line drying them.
I've been an almost exclusively Smartwool sock fan for >15 years (hiking, biking, running, backpacking, not to mention work, daily use) and these are the first pair of Darn Tough socks (tried intermittently over the years) that *might* convince me to change companies. I LOVE supporting a Vermont company but up until now, Smartwool has been better (more comfortable/ thicker in all the right places, much better color/ pattern choices). Keep it up, Darn Tough!
These are the best socks I’ve ever had. They are comfortable, warm and perfect thickness
Absolutely love Darn Tough socks. the cushion helps my feet feel a little relief when hiking or being on my feet all day. Also keep my feet warm and free of moisture all day. Have been great in all weather, esp snow.
Darn Tough socks rock! I use these socks for general use, wearing hiking, cycling and strength training. I also love the colors! I wear them at least twice a week and have not noticed any wear and tear.
I have about a dozen Darn Tough pairs of different thicknesd. They are my go to brand day after day.
Moisture wicking, comfortable on my thick calfs and no chafing!
The quality of these socks is good, however, they don’t hug my foot like other hiking socks. I probably wouldn’t buy again.
