New to using Darn tough socks, after buying my first pair, I got 6 more so I can wear them all week! Just wish they had more than two vegan socks! So cushioned and comfy! For reference I’m obsessed with socks, I love them so much, but despite having very skinny ankles I usually find socks to be too tight on the ankles and too big on my foot. These for my heel to toe so perfectly, MOST IMPORTANTLY HAVE A NICE WIDE TOE BOX, aren’t too tight on the ankles, and are so cushioned, soft, and temperature controlled when hiking. They keep your feet warm even when soaken wet, but not too hot either. Love them!

I thought all Darn Tough socks were a Merino Wool blend, so I just grabbed these off the shelf without checking. Turns out they are COOLMAX which is a polyester blend. They are fine, just not what I expected. They feel a smidge thinner and more slippery in my boots than my other Darn Tough midweight hiking socks. But as the name implies, they are also cooler on my feet on a hot day. And the pattern is really cute peeking out of boots.
When I was in Alaska and freezing (who knew? Lol!) I would’ve paid anything for a good pair of socks. Wandered into a store and found these. I was happy to pay for 2 pair, especially knowing they have a lifetime guarantee on them. They were AMAZING in Alaska!! Again, happy to have 2 pair and thought there is no way I’ll buy any more. NOPE, I am now the proud owner of a drawer full of Darn Tough’s!! They make them heavy for winter, medium for hiking - and the running socks? Chefs kiss!
I love these socks. Not only are they good looking, they are very comfortable. One of the most important things for me is smooth toe seams. DarnTough knows how to make smooth toe seams! I have other socks by this brand, these are the first that are not wool. I also appreciate the extra thickness on the bottoms – even more comfort!
These socks are so comfortable - essential for a much awaited trip to Yosemite in October. I have multiple issues with my feet and these sock will be a great complement to my new Solomon day hikers, providing support, no bunching up, and warmth when it’s cold and not when it’s hot!
