Game changer convenience toilet
I took this composting toilet to a muddy tent camping experience with lots “Spring” weather and kept it in the tent with me. It was so convenient and saved me some cold rainy nights. Best of all, there were no foul odors escaping (only used for urination however it was a 9 day/night camping experience) from the toilet with the lid down.
Great for the Van Life
This is an excellent portable toilet I use in my camper van. I used Dawn dish soap and eucalyptus oil in the rinse water. I was shocked to find there was absolutely no odor after days, just a pleasant eucalyptus scent. Extremely easy to empty and refill. The pods you drop in completely dissolve all toilet paper. Highly recommend this product
Functional, but no replacement parts is a no-go
The toilet itself works well, but you can't buy replacement parts for it. My puppy chewed the waste tank lid after I cleaned the tank and left it outside with the lid off to finish drying. Called everywhere, googled, and looks like Dometic has discontinued that part as it can't even be ordered. Can't really recommend a product that isn't fixable, as it looks like my only choice is to throw away a toilet that could easily be fixed with $5 part. Really not an earth friendly choice.
Not worth the trouble. Get a composting toilet.
Honestly we are getting rid of this a little over a year in. When it "flushes" water splashes out from under the toilet seat. It is a bear to empty. I was expecting something similar to our grey water tank but this was a nightmare. When the kids pooped in it, it often took 4-6 "flushes" to actually clean it. I preferred the potty training toilet we had for the kids.
Works great!
It’s fantastic to be able to go to the bathroom anytime you need, I bought the tablets that go on the tank in Amazon because REI didn’t have them. Keeps the smell to a minimum, I fully recommend
leaks
Took a month long road trip. It leaks. Tried to troubleshoot, can’t figure it out. Other than this major fail, we liked it.
