Tried and True

I am an avid backcountry snowboarder, and used this pack all last season. It’s the perfect size for close in backcountry tours, ducking through the gates at the resort, or riding snowmobile access terrain. If you want a pack just for longer days touring, probably go for something with a little more space. In this pack I fit my shovel and probe, a small water bottle, a small med/survival kit, spare goggle lenses, a couple of energy bars, and sometimes a hat if i know i will be hiking too. The helmet carry is great for boot packing, i found i can stick my goggles and shell in with my helmet. This pack cinches up to my back really well, and feels like I don’t have much weight on when i am actually riding.

Small and Efficient

I wore this backpack on a heli trip in AK this past winter. I upgraded from the Float 8 to the 12 to have a bit more space. I did in fact have an easier time packing extra goggles and snacks alongside all of my avalanche equipment, but it didn't feel bigger. This is a small bag which is really nice, but also really efficient. I highly reccommend this one!

Great bags.

Amazing bags. I use this exact bag for backcourts try riding. It’s the perfect size for extra gloves and goggles, water, and still small enough to get freestyle while snowboarding. Highly suggest.
