Great, flattering light jacket
I really love this jacket! I bought it for a trip to Greece, and it was just perfect; I wore it on the plane, and in the evenings when it would get chilly. It’s a nice color and didn’t show dirt or wear easily..didn’t wrinkle. Easy to wash out and dry quickly.
Favorite lightweight layer!
I can't say enough good things about this jacket! It's the perfect lightweight layer because it provides just enough warmth while still being very breathable. It's perfect for traveling because it packs down small and is stylish enough to wear anywhere from the mountains to in town. This jacket has seen everything from climbing to backpacking to running and is still going strong.
Nice summer jacket
I like everything about this jacket except the skinny sleeves. Just like their other styles of jackets, the sleeves are cut for spaghetti arms. The material is durable, lightweight, cool and comfortable and stretches just a bit for movement, but doubtful it will lose it's shape. I don't put it in the dryer for fear the sleeves will get too tight. I hang it up to dry and stretch the sleeves with my hands. Thankfully, there is a drawstring at the bottom. A lot of women's outerwear is too big at the bottom and no drawstring to make it fit. This jacket was designed much better than other brands, although you do pay the price at the register for that. Not a cheap brand.
My New Favorite Jacket!!
I was on the fence about ordering this jacket because of the price but ordered it anyways and cannot be more pleased!! From reading the reviews, I wasn't sure if I needed a medium or large so I ordered both. Since I don't like loose fitting clothes, the medium was perfect and the large was returned. I believe this jacket runs true to size in my opinion. I am 5'8 and 170 lbs. Have have joggers (M), leggings (M), shorts (M/L) and this jacket (M) from Vuori and LOVE everything I have!! Quality products that are so soft and comfortable!!
Amazing jacket
My son purchased this for me for Christmas for running. We often have 20 degree days here and I thought no way would this be warm enough. In fact the first few times I wore it I layered something over it. I always had to leave that other layer on the trail. Somehow it works in a huge range of temperatures is breathable and wind proof. I wish they had another color I could buy. It replaces a lot of other coats that just sit in my closet now. Like another reviewer said the drawstring will come out in the wash if you are not careful.
An essential piece of clothing
What a great lightweight hooded jacket! I bought it for a trip to Italy and just returned after 3 weeks and many occasions to wear the jacket: as a top layer on overly chilled flights, on ferries and rainy days in Lake Como, for both warm days and cool evenings. Easy to fold into a small day pack or just throw over an arm and go. Nice looking, easy to wear, with handy zippered pockets and a hidden inside pockets. The hood was handy for wind and light rain. Now that I'm home I'm sure to continue enjoying this versatile jacket!
My favorite jacket
Great quality - has held up well through weekly use for a year and still looks new, fits well (arms aren’t ridiculously long), good for runs and for daily errands - inside chest pocket as well as two external zippered pockets. Caveat - put knots in the hoodie string or it’s coming out in the wash.
Glad I picked this up!
Inspired by another review, I bought this on a whim as I was looking for the perfect lightweight jacket for the warming months. I immediately loved it, it fit perfectly and the color/hood details were even nicer in person. It is indeed quite thin, when I saw the package I was worried they sent the wrong item because it was so small and thin. For such a lightweight jacket, I was pleasantly surprised with how it managed my temperature during this odd mid-season weather in the Bay Area. This is great to throw on when going for a walk/commuting as it easily fits in a bag or ties around the waist. I didn't end up needing the extra layer I wore under it because the jacket alone kept me warm enough. The fabric feels nice on the skin and it has the perfect balance of breathability and wind protection. For reference, I am 5'6" 125lbs and purchased a size small. Sleeves, torso, and width were the perfect length (usually I have to pick between them). My one gripe is the zipper, it's not very smooth and frankly feels a bit cheap, especially for a jacket that costs over $100.
Product doesn't look like the images
I bought this jacket because of the print. I have many black shell jackets and wanted something different. Too bad the jacked turned out to be far from what I expected. Product is pretty well made. Lightweight, comfortable, and tts. Hence, the 3 stars. The product images, however, are somewhat deceiving. It looks like a plain black jacket. You have to hold it close to bright light and look closely to see the camo.
Nearly perfect: quiet and breathable
This jacket is soft, quiet (a long-sought attribute), flexible, and breathable. The fit is perfect through the shoulders and has room through the body, but I found it tight at the hip and I don't have much in the way of hips. Would give 4.5 if I could, but the fit means I'm limited in choices for layers, while going up a size was sloppy through the shoulders.
