Van Life Kitchen Plates

I bought 2 of these plates so my husband and I could each have our own. We live in a van so space is tight and it's always good to keep the weight down for belongings, too. These are lightweight and easy to clean. There hasn't been any issues with them such as bending, getting damaged, rusting, etc. They're great! We enjoy the versatility of being able to use them for all our meals since the side of the plate comes up a bit so you can keep food on the plate instead of sliding off/spilling (loaded oatmeals, cereal, soups/stews/curries with rice, sandwiches, ice cream, etc). An important note is that you will feel the temperature of the food that you're eating through the plate (like hot foods) so we use a pot holder underneath when necessary. I'm planning on buying two more so guests can have their own plate :) Highly recommend!

Nice plate for big salads

I use this plate at home and the shape and size are great for fluffy things like salad or pasta. I like the polished surface too. The center can pop up or down by a few millimeters, which is slightly annoying but most of the time I don't notice it. This would be nice for car camping but I think I'd stick to a smaller titanium plate for backpacking.

Durable and Practical!!

My hubby and I have been using the GSI deep plate for over a year now on our many camping expeditions. Since plate is deep it works great for soups and cereal. It's lightweight and we even prefer it over titanium plates .We have not had any trouble with food extensively sticking to plate. We will definitely be buying more of these!

Great addition for the money.

This is a great multipurpose bowel. Fits nicely with my other gear. I bought two last season and these two will give our family enough to finally let go of the old plates we had been hanging on to for years. Last year was the “probationary period and they passed with flying colors. Sturdy for our camping style and easy to clean up. Light weight enough to slip into our packs for short trips.

GSI SS vs SS Delta Plate

I bought the GSI stainless steel plate to compare with the Sea to Summit Delta plate. This review is only for the GSI plate. I didn’t care for it. The food gets really hot on it, the food slides around when walking (hazardous for me lol), food tended to stick to the plate so washing was more labor intensive. I’m not a fan of metal plates, bowls etc..because when it’s cold out your food gets cold quick, and hot items are impossible to hold without something between your skin and the plate.

Great standby piece for camping and picnics.

Bought a set of these for my camp kitchen. I love that they’re deep enough to be a bowl if needed, plenty large for use as a plate, and they’re not plastic. They wash up easily and don’t hold onto a greasy film the way some plastic can. Priced better than some alternatives and they work great. Recommend.

Stainless Steel Deep Plate

This Deep Plate/Shallow Bowl is surprisingly light weight and very durable. Great addition to my gear. I don't have to carry a bowl and plate and reduces pack weight with this bowl. Very pleased thus far.

nice wide bowl

Got these to add to my camping dishes. I needed a wider bowl for the way I eat rice and pasta dishes. They look like good quality.
