I already have couple of hammocks but I saw this small piece of gear and wanted to give it a tryout, couldn't be more pleased, it is perfect for chill in hikes or in the campsite!

Split after very little use

I used this hammock for a few days on my porch, but after about four uses (just lying in it, reading) it split down the middle and dumped me. I'm 135# and had no sharps on me for any of the times I'd used it. Really disappointed.

Ultra-lite Hammock Delivers what it Promises

The description was dead-on and delivered as described. Well made, super lite, and competitively priced (bought on outlet). Unfortunately for me, it just didn't work well, but it's less the fault of the hammock and more my inexperience and size. There's not much room in this thing, especially for someone a bit bigger. I'll be handing this down to my son who's quite a bit smaller and I'd imagine he will probably have better luck. For those of you looking for a super lite hammock for hiking trips, check this out, it's no frills but would be great for long hikes, with multiple overnights (if pack weight is a factor).

Perfect for hikes and camping

I got this for a camping trip out west and used it often. After hiking and exploring, nothing beats dangling among the trees. It's super small, so it fits in my raincoat pocked. Now that I'm home, I can just take a stroll to the nearest park and set up and relax. My only gripe is that I wish the pocked on the side was bigger so I could put a book and water bottle in it, but it's meant to be compact, so there's a trade off.

Awesome buy

I was eyeing this for nearly a year and purchased it at an amazing price. Super small and compact and keep it in my pack daily in the event i want to use it at a moments notice. Charcoal gray looks like a dark blue in light. Amazingly easy set up and a perfect gift for yourself or other. If you’re a bigger person I’d consider the two person. I’m 5’8 and fits perfectly.

small and non-smothering

Perfect size to hang without all the extra fabric of a double nest smothering you. Add the fact that the fabric is ultra breathable and this is the perfect hot weather hammock. Packs so small I can fit my Helios straps in the stuff sack and fit t it all in s bike jersey pocket. The hammock and straps together only weigh 10.5oz! Awesome! Beats a 2-5 lb tent and a hammock is the best lounge chair!

It was too good to be true

I had it for 2 months and used it less than a half dozen times. I took it on a backpacking trip to replace my heavier singlenest Eno hammock and on the third day of the hike it ripped in half and dropped me. I was pretty careful when getting into it since it felt so dainty but it's not made to last at all.

Ultralight, compact, and comfortable

This is a great little hammock. Perfect as part of a UL shelter set-up. It's also small enough and light enough to be a mainstay in a day pack or even a hydration pack or purse. My wife and I each have one and rarely leave the house without them. I bought mine in 2015. At the time, I remember reading some reviews where people reported problems with the hammock tearing. The hammock has been updated since. I don't believe the original used Dyneema cord (I could be wrong though) and the nylon may not have been as robust. Regardless, I've used mine extensively and it's still in excellent condition. For reference, I'm 5'7", 150, and a side-sleeper. To be honest, I'm not a fan of ENO hammocks generally. I find them to be too bulky with a design which leads to the burrito effect where the hammock rolls up around you. This is not the case with the Sub 7, however. It provides a really nice hang and is very comfortable. I also like that it allows you to create a modular UL set-up. Most UL hammocks have integrated bug nets and are sold as a package with tarp, guylines, etc. If bugs and weather aren't an issue, all you need are some lightweight straps and for under a pound you've got a shelter which is far more comfortable than simply lying on the ground.

First Time I took it out for camping, it ripped right in half, not so great. Usually good quality and came recommended.
