Are you serious with these colors…
Yikes. I was sooo excited to get this chalk pot, ordered it based off of the product pictured. I did see the note, that the colors sent may vary slightly from the picture. Well, unfortunately, I got very ugly colors. Does not jive at all with my aesthetic or match my gear. I debated returning the bag and just ordering a different one to see if maybe I would get better colors. But at this point, I’m just going to order a different bag from black diamond where I can have the discretion over a nice color choice. I think that this company needs to give the buyers some control over what colors they are buying because I’m annoyed, disgusted, and disappointed with the product that I received.
Doesn't seal chalk at the bottom
Noticed my first lunch bag would plume chalk out of the base, found the seams not sealing completely. REI exchanged the bucket for another which was a bummer as I really liked the 1st colorway I picked. After filling the replacement bucket with chalk and closing it up, I find it too let's chalk out of the base getting chalk on things I don't want it on when closed up tight. It's a rad looking bag, I just wished it sealed up when fully closed. Bummer.
A Great Pickup For The Every Day Gym Boulderer
I didn't think a chalk bucket was necessary for bouldering, but ever since I've used this bag indoors and out I won't do any bouldering without it.
As a bail-out rope bag
I use it as a bailout bag to hold extra rope. Holds 50feet of 11mm static line no problem.
Great Bucket Awesome Colors
Huge chalk bucket with elastic tabs to hold your brushes and a large, convenient zipper pocket for tape, keys, etc. The color of the bag I received does not match either of the options, but it’s soo much better. Excellent quality as with all Organic products. I have not had the issue of the chalk leaking out of the seams that other customers have mentioned.

Organic climbing makes great products, and led innovation in climbing & bouldering soft goods. This is an indestructible chalk bucket with metal buckles, and sexy as f styling. You probably shouldn't buy other over-priced knockoffs. I have no affiliation with Organic, other than being a happy customer for nearly a decade.

Can’t compliment this bucket enough. I threw two chalk balls and loose chalk in, works amazingly well. Roll down the top while open and it’ll sit so you can chalk both hands at once. The zipper pouch is rad for a larger brush, tape, and keys. The colors are always pretty sick as well, every bag looks different.
Exceeded all expectations!
I bought this chalk bucket for a outdoor bouldering trip in Colorado and it served me so well! You'd think it'd be bulkier or harder to carry around but it's exceedingly practical for climbers with pretty sweaty hands like me lol.
