Nice blue color
Per the Norrona size chart, I should wear a medium, which is the size I first purchased; however, the shoulders stuck out which looked oversized and weird. I weigh #123 and am 5'6" with normal proportions and usually wear a medium in vests and jackets. I returned the medium and purchased the small. The shoulders fit fine but overall it is a tad snug when zipped. I love the color and quality but may return. Also, on both vests, the inside of the right pocket is sewn with a pleat. I emailed Norrona to inquire as to why but never received a response. That is not a deal breaker but seems strange why it is stitched like that. Quality vest otherwise.
Best vest ever!
Best vest i have ever had. Can really recommend this to others. I primarily use it for hiking, but also for everyday use. Fits perfectly and its true to size
Sweetness also in motion
I love using vests. All year round I use them. On top of a wind jacket, under a goretex jacket, to keep warm and -simply- just enough warm! The Falketind down vest is one of the insulation products I use the most, all year round. I love the hood to pull up when it is cold. Skipping the sleeves is a great compromise to keep just enough warm and to have the option to put something warm on while for example walking or touring, without covering the arms. This product comes with a good fit and runs a little longer down the back to keep the bottom warmer and it has a nice snug fit. The front pocket is big enough and I like that the zip comes all way up to cover the neck and throat. Cozy, sweet and very functional for mountain adventures.
Vest som passer til alt!
Den har et enkelt, stilrent og fint design som gjør at den passer til alt. Den er veldig lett, varmer passe, har store og gode lommer. Hetten er et pluss, det er ikke så lett å finne en god vest med hette. Den er lett å komprimere og pakke med seg i sekken. Samtidig utrolig lett å bare hive på seg når man skal i butikken og trenger noe over seg, samt for å ha ting og tang i lommer. Eneste som trekker ned er at den er litt liten i størrelsen.
I love it. Warm and ultra lightweight
I got this at Christmas. It's super light weight and packs down small so is an excellent extra layer under another coat for really cold days or great to wear on its own when it's mild. It is warm in the cold but you don't overheat when it's not so cold (e.g when squashed in a warm train). The high hood means that it also stops drafts coming in round the neck and it is longer than many so no gaps around the mid section either
Perfect
Bought this vest one month ago after stealing my friends vest a lot. I'd say it is a multi purpose garment. I keep it in my backpack as a warm layer once you reach the top or if you are in a stance. It also looks good enough for a walk around town. Absolutely love it. I usually wear size M but I think this runs a little bit large but it is nice for layering underneath.
Warmth without being too thick and love the longer length
I bought this a month ago after seeing it in the Norrona shop in Chamonix and falling in love with it. After I got home I decided to buy it on line as it really was a perfect fit. The longer length is particularly good; the hood is useful and it is really toasty without being too thick. Great colour and fit. Five stars!
Deilig allrounder
Great vest for outdoor activities, light and durable. Helps you regulate your temperature whilst in activity or stand by. I have the red one (women's) and the colour is really popping! Hood on this model, not on mens. The pockets are spacious and the vest is long in the back to keep you warm.
Fantastic Quality Product
I received this product as a gift and I’m really impressed. It has given me a great intro to the brand and I will defiantly purchase more pieces. A very versatile all weather garment with fantastic technical features. I’d recommend this brand without hesitation.

I live in Michigan and this winter has been brutal, this vest kept me very warm and I was able to crosscountry ski without having to wear a jacket on 20-25 degrees Farenheit. It is cut slim, a bit too snug for a Large around the hip area. Otherwise great!
