Reduced Comfort Not Worth the Weight Savings

I’m a huge Eno fan and have two Eno Doublenest hammocks. I’m into ultralight backpacking and I’m always trying to shave a few ounces off of my gear and I’m willing to pay the premium cost that almost always comes with it. With all that said, the SuperSub was a huge disappointment. I’m 6’2” and 185lbs and I felt like the material was constantly fighting against me while I laid in the hammock. It does not stretch, conform or adjust to my body like the standard DoubleNest. It also doesn’t breath as well and can be too hot. It seemed to always have significant tension on the material and the whole experience made it difficult to relax. I’m returning mine and will stick with the near-perfection of my Eno DoubleNest.

Durability issues

I had this hammock for 3 years. The hammock never touched the ground. During my JMT 2 holes formed. To ENO's credit, the holes did not expand (with some help from duct-tape) and I never fell. Maybe this is just a consumable piece of gear, but it is good knowing that when purchasing. It was comfortable, I was always happy with it (unless I needed to get creative with a hang, but that isn't the hammock's fault). Just bummed about the stress holes. And some larger area showing signs of fatigue.

Finally, An Ultralight DoubleNest!!!

I've been waiting for ENO to build this product for years! It's just as comfortable as their legendary DoubleNest, except with lighter fabric (super soft) and a smaller pack size. This hammock has a permanent place in my pack and I 've already racked up many hours in it. Pair it with a set of Helios Straps (or whoopies) and you've got a sub 1lb package.

The Best Hammock I Have

This thing is pretty slick, at first I was very skeptical because it had just appeared online and it had no reviews. But boy was I wrong it is just as if not more comfortable than the traditional double nest and at less than half the weight. Also the aluminum toggles work way better than I thought and I wish that they were on all hammocks,

Light and Comfortable

Noticeably lighter than the Double Nest but the same dimensions makes this hammock extra comfortable and not a burden to carry in your pack for a week or more.

Durability and Comfort issues.

I bought this today. I set it up in my yard to test before going camping. I laid in it for about thirty minutes. It seems to collapse around you uncomfortably no matter how many positions you lay. When I got out, it brushed the ground lightly. That put two holes in it. Mind you, I didn't bonk the ground, I simply brushed it. I can't imagine a hammock so fragile being my primary sleeping solution for even a two night trip.

Love my ENO hammock. It's lightweight, packs down small, and is easy to put up. If you want to relax more outdoors you can't go wrong with ENO. Grab a book and get outside.

I really wanted to like this hammock...

I bought this hammock excited to find a super light double nest! I love my other eno hammock. but unfortunately on day one of the first trip I took with it it ripped leavibg me sleeping on the ground for 10 days in Yosemite. carry their normal ones I have used them many times and never had an issue. worth the extra weight not to be sleeping on the ground.

Warning about the Enos Hammock

I purchased the product and I am happy with the product "itself". However, the product did not come with the hanging system. Nor as there any information about the hanging system. Further, there is no ability to purchase the hanging system through REI.
