It leaked at first but I fixed it

Ok so I bought this bag not knowing it was for kids. Im a really skinny 18 y/o and it fits me fine. It’s good if you just want a small bag. When I brought it home and filled it with water the thing started leaking right away and I was worried it was broken. So for a good 30min I experimented to see where it was leaking from and if I could fix it. And I found that the blue plastic ring that’s suppose to go under the screw lock thing when you close it was causing it to leak and if I screwed the thing on without it, it didn’t leak anymore. So if your bag is leaking don’t automatically assume the worst, see if yours has this stupid blue ring. You’re able to take it off with a little force so its not just dangling everywhere. I’ve had this thing for a couple days and it hasn’t leaked since. It’s really cool, actually has more space than it looks like it should have. I’m excited to take it to camp in the summer

Festivals!

I bought this to bring to music festivals and I had no idea it was a kids, but it worked out perfect! If you're wondering what it looks like on an older person I'm 5'5 and this is what it looks like. I wish there was a little more storage and the clips are hard to manage, but for $50 it's great!

Perfect

I try and keep my family active and I often run with a hydration pack. Because of this, all my kids wanted one. I bought one for my 7, 9, 11 and 12 year old kiddos this little pack fits them all. It was a little floppy on my 7 year old, but he managed to use it for a 9.9 mile mountain race/hike three weeks ago. It chaffed a bit, I just pulled his shirt up by his neck and he was good to go. Kids fill them with ease, good color variation so I know whose is whose, we are so happy. There are a million cheap packs out there, imho it is better to go with a quality product from the get go.

Love It!

I bought this for a Ragnar trail race, in total I ran just shy of 16 miles in 90 degree weather. This thing saved my life and because it's small and sits up high on the back it was a perfect little accessory. Big pocket to carry, keys, cell phone, Gu or protein bar. Would definitely buy this again.

CAMELBAK MINI MULE 1.5L PINK KIDS HYDRATION PACK

These are a great little backpack for kids. I got sick of stopping every 5minutes to give the kids a drink out of a traditional drink bottle. These backpacks are evenly weighted and small enough to fit their little bodies. With 1.5l of water storage, it's fantastic for long treks. The design is wonderful and it has ample storage for day trips. We were able to fit in a hiking towel, little first aid kit and some snacks. My girls aged 5 and 8 walked for 4 hours with these packs - no problems. I am a big fan and would highly recommend. I love the quality that comes with the Camelbak range. It is such a bonus that all the parts on the bladder can be replaced. If the kids chew through the bite valve it's easily replaced. The bite valve is easy to use and drink out of and the on/off valve stops leaks.

Leaked Right Away

I was so disappointed. This was a birthday gift for my son, and while he loved the pack, the bladder leaked at the tube connection as soon as we filled it. It looked like it is missing a piece between the tube and the connection point on the bladder so I requested and received a new tube assembly, but the replacement tube assembly had a completely different connection mechanism. I don't know if this pack uses an outdated version of the bladder, but wound up needing to return the pack as it was unusable. The pack itself was the perfect size for him, a cute design and functional if it had a non-leaking bladder.

Great kids hiking pack.

My 8 year old loves this pack. She enjoys the independence of having her own water supply and shares it with her 6 year old sister. We hiked almost 4 miles in July and they had plenty of water left. The pockets have room for their snack bars, compass, binoculars, flashlights, and little stuffed animal friends (most importantly). Two things I wish were different: the hose doesn’t quick release from the bladder and there is no magnet clip for the hose to connect to the strap (both are features on my adult size pack). But these are minor and wouldn’t deter me from purchasing it again.

Perfect size

The little dude was always running off with my hydration pack and it didn’t really fit him properly since he’s only 3. But this pack is perfect for him and has plenty of adjustment to grow with him for a long time. Plus he absolutely loves having his own hydration pack like dad.

Perfect for my little guy

We have had the Mini M.U.L.E for about 4 or 5 years now. It has held up for him. He has been biking since 2 and hiking since 3. This is the perfect size for ages 2 1/2 and up. My son is currently 8 and he still uses it. I am acutally going to upgrade him to the Scout in the next few months, as he needs more storage for shed layers and his hikes are getting longer. He has taken the MULE everywhere from riding bikes, camping, hikes, disneyland, the beach, even baseball and soccer practice. It was a very good investment. We wish it had more storage as he is now older. But it fit our needs for the past 4 years. He can carry a lot in the mule. He carries a full first aid kit, flashlight, whistle, 3 cliff bars, 2 fruit leathers, and whatever "treasures" he finds on our hikes.

Great features, but leaked with first use

We purchased this adorable pack in Zion. My daughter loved the design, safety whistle, three pockets and chest strap. However, with the first 4 mile hike, it leaked! Very frustrated parent and child. We re-sealed over and over and any time pressure was applied to the pack (bending down to play or investigate), the pack leaked at the top seal, leading to a wet pack, wet back, and upset child. Fortunately we went back to the shop and they switched bladders with us no questions asked. So far so good.
