Good Basic Hydration Vest

Received free product

This is a good, but basic hydration vest. I used it for several days of fat biking and ski touring in Yosemite, February 2024. It’s comfortable and has adequate storage but I probably wouldn’t use it for something like running or any activity with a lot of bouncing around. The water system is great, but I wish the pockets had more stretch to them. The straps have no stretch to them either, which is not ideal, but works fine in the real world.

Comfortable Carry

Received free product

First off, the bladder that comes with is easy to fill and use, like my other camelbaks. I’m 5’9” with a stocky frame and it was easy to fit my torso even with a light soft shell on. I like to run and bike in the early mornings when it’s darker out so it was nice to have the “command center” harness to fit my keys for easy access. I have a larger phone heavy duty phone case, but it fit in there great! When I got too hot and needed to take off my gloves and hat, the stash pouch in the back was handy and fit everything. I like the minimal fit and feeling. It’s really to get on/off and doesn’t feels like it disappears on your back. It’s so light and I still have my fee range of motion. I like the darker color scheme a lot and the coyote Camelbak is a nice touch. I really like the color a lot. I highly recommend this. It really makes it easy to have water and gear with my while I’m training and outdoors.

Great little camelbak and then some

Received free product

Used this for a couple bike rides (2x15mi MTB) as well as a short training run (7mi). Overall a great little package. Fit - one size with good adjustability. I usually wear Men's M tops and have a 40in chest. The side and chest straps have some elasticity and are easy to adjust for a good fit. The pack rides high enough that my jersey pockets are available, but I ended up just using the pack for the most part. Features - chest pockets x2 are big enough to fit a Pixel 7a. My phone stayed stable for and didn't have too much bounce. The back pocket organizer is great for wallet, snacks, a multitool, and some a C02 cartridge. Internal organizer is helpful. The open top pocket is small, but perfect for a packable jacket or a midlayer. Camelbak - tubing is a bit long is the only weird part. The pack came with the hose looped across the opposite shoulder, but I ended up switching it towards the end with the zipper button as it was easier to load and unload the bladder. However, when riding, the chest securement keeps the hose and mouth piece out of the way. Overall - great little bike pack that can double for some running.
