Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality Bladder System I would not recommend this product. Both the bladder itself and the pack do not function well. The lid for the bladder is difficult to close properly and does not seal properly (very difficult to get the lid sealed and not have fluids leaking out and running down your back). The latch for the top pocket to attach to the bladder is also difficult to secure. This pack cost me precious time at aid stations at a recent trail race. Do not buy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from a step backwards from the prior model Ordered the new Rogue based on having a slightly larger reservoir (2.5l vs 2.0 prior), and claims that the Crux reservoir is an improvement. I have been using the prior version of the Rogue and like the size but did like the idea of having a little extra water on tap. In my mind it had been a 5-star product. My issues with the new design: 1) Crux reservoir in this pack does not have quick-release feature for removing the hose. Hadn't crossed my mind that this feature, which has been the norm on antidote reservoirs would be removed and can't imagine a scenario where not having it is better. Also the new handle for the reservoir is twice as long as the prior antidote reservoir handle. Some may like this but for this pack it causes the handle to intrude into the expandable storage area, which did not happen on the prior version. 2) Upper storage area of the pack has changed from a side-zip to a top-zip format. While probably a matter of taste, for me the side-zip was much more convenient and allowed easier access to the entire compartment. With the new top-zip it is somewhat difficult to reach small items in the bottom of the compartment, so best to only use it for items with some length, such as a pump or tall power bars. I guess the upside to the top-zip format is that it is more difficult to lose something if you forget to zip it up, but overall I don't see this as a win.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Hydration in a lightweight pack This is the best Camelbak I've owned. It holds enough water for a couple hour hike and has plenty of storage for a phone, wallet and keys. It's super lightweight. The new drinking tube is 50% thicker for bigger gulps with less work. It's awesome.
