Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lumen - value meets light weight/packability I've been using my 10+ year old adult size Lumen as a child's bag. Needed another bag for a second child. Turns out the Youth size also fits my wife which is an added bonus. The Lumen is a good balance of packability, weight, and insulative rating. We've had the old bag to within 5 degrees of its rating and it's performed fine. Haven't had the new bag that low yet but I have no doubts about its performance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and very light weight! My skinny 9 year old son needed a sleeping bag for some cold campouts. He stayed toasty warm and is excited for more campouts in the future in his new bag!

MY son is 5'1 and 115 lbs would you recommend this bag or the short Trail pod 29. How small will this bag pack down to and what compression bag do you recommend? Thanks!

Asked by: Brad
Based on your son's height the Lumen is a great choice. The Lumen will compress to about 7 liters of volume. Any 11 liter compression sack will work just fine. https://www.rei.com/c/compression-sacks

The description mentions it attaches to a sleeping pad (not included). Which sleeping pad would work for that? Where are the loops on the pads?

Asked by: ShopGirl
There are 2 loops on each side of the sleeping bag where you are able to attach to a sleeping pad, the first is approximately 20 inches from the top of the bag and the second is approximately 30 inches from the bottom of the bag. We recommend threading a webbing system under your sleeping pad and through the loops to secure the pad to your bag. I was searching for a sleeping bag that weighed between 0-.49lbs. This sleeping bag came up. It says it weighs 2 lbs. What does it weigh? I'm trying to go as light as possible, and not sure if this is just a glitch in your website.

Asked by: wenwen
The correct weight is 2 lbs. 6 oz. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
