- Semifitted shape provides the roomiest fit of our backpacking bags, offering extra room in the knee area to enable a variety of sleeping positions
- Recycled shell and lining fabrics feature a durable water repellent (DWR) finish made without PFAS that help moisture bead up on the surface
- 100% recycled synthetic polyester insulation is durable and highly compressible; the fill also retains some insulating ability even if it gets damp
- Shingle construction on top provides uniform loft and helps prevent insulation from shifting and creating cold spots
- Offset quilt construction on the bottom optimizes bag/pad system warmth while reducing unnecessary weight and bulk
- Comfortable hood shape works well for all sleep positions and allows for easy integration with a backpacking pillow (not included)
- 2 differentiated drawcords make the hood easy to adjust while you're zipped in the bag
- Insulated muffler and full-length zipper draft tube keep warmth in and cold out
- Zipper path wraps around the front of the chest for easy zipping and unzipping of the bag; zipper cover and internal antisnag strip allow for frustration-free zipping
- Roomy trapezoidal footbox provides space to wiggle toes while still remaining warm and cozy
- Keep personal items close and easy to access in the interior stash pocket
- Includes a stuff sack for packing and a roomy mesh sack for breathable storage

Perfect for my 5’7 145-lb frame!
Yes , I recommend this product
I had to pack a sleeping bag, a sleeping pad, a pillow and my climbing harness and climbing shoes in my Mammut Trea 35-litre backpack for a climbing trip. Therefore, I need a sleeping bag that compresses down to 8-9 liters in size, but is warm enough for overnight temperature in the 40-50’s. Tom at REI rental recommended this sleeping bag, which fit my frame perfectly, but was already reserved by another customer. I decided to buy one because the rental fee for a week is already half of the cost of a brand new sleeping bag, It turned out to be the perfect size for me! In the past I have rented a regular adult size, but I was swimming in the bag. I was misaligned every time I turned. Zephyr kid’s sleeping bag is perfect. It moved with my body. The neck warmer worked so well to retain my body heat. The price is better than the adult size. It packs small. I cannot ask for more! I highly recommend this sleeping bag for adult women in similar or smaller size!

Lightweight but not for temps below 40F.
No, I do not recommend this product
Nice and lightweight but not particularly warm for temps below 40F. My son had a Boy Scout overnight trip and it dipped into the mid-30s and he was quite cold with this bag. He used a sleeping pad with a 5.5 R value, so I don’t think that was the issue. The bag, while rated for 25F, is definitely not the best choice for temps below 40F.
