I searched forever to find a great durable bag for Spring/Summer camping. I am a cold sleeper so I probably could have went with a lighter bag. I tried this and the Kelty bag which is down. I went with this bag I loved the colors better and this one was perfect for me at 5'2" and 115 it fit great, the Kelty and Marmmot bags I looked at were just a hair to wide. We tried out the bag in our backyard in April for a mini camp out when the temp dropped to about 35 overnight and this bag was awesome and I slept like a rock.
I was torn between goose-down and synthetic. I went with synthetic because the store employee recommended this for more damp areas. Synthetic is faster to dry and better with moisture protection. They were right. I was completely dry when waking up in a damp tent (left tarp cover off). After packing it it didnt smell and it dried quickly after I got home. My only issues, which is why i brought it back, it doesnt pack so tightly and is more heavy than feather-down bags. I decided to trade it in. Im more concerned with weight than anything else. And since Im short I didnt need more weight. Also, Im always cold and I never had a problem in this bag. My feet and whole body were actually too warm in 50 deg weather. Wish it had the foot zipper to cool off feet when too hot. Another reason I returned. No problems with sleeping bag. Just discovered different priority of preferences..
This is the first sleeping bag that I purchased with the intention of using it in below 30 degree weather. We slept on the top of a butte, in the woods of the grand canyon, in the deserts of sedona and I was super warm in this sleeping bag! Its comfortable, and fit my 5 foot frame perfectly!
Super cute and I love the color. This is my first mummy bag and I have to say it took some getting used to. I'm 5'6/125 lbs and purchased the regular/wide as I wanted some move to room around and not feel claustrophobic. The length was great, but after a first use and in retrospect I probably should have purchased the regular or fitted because I was soooo cold in 40 degree temps. I tried layering up and layering down with no avail and finally had to add hand warmers to my bag before I could be comfortable. I'll probably purchase a liner for my next try. Lightweight and packs down nicely into the provided compression bag. I also like the hooks on the side to make it easier for hanging up to dry/air out. I mostly purchased based on price and color, would not recommend if tend to get cold at night easily as I do.
This bag is a little heavier than I’d like but is super cute which mattered for me since bags are very expensive. It’s kept me warm and looks great I got the wide for extra shoulder space and it’s been great! Would recommend.
Bought this sleeping bag and I am very happy with this purchase. I like that it’s synthetic and not down.
I went with this bag because I loved the color and it came in long. I’ve used this bag camping in the PNW as well as in the Senora Desert in late October. Even in sub 40 degree weather it’s kept me toasty. I‘m 5’10.5, and I’ve had a lot of weight fluctuations (190-300), and this bag has fit and kept me warm in all sizes.
Exactly what I needed! Toasty in sub 40s, good compression to fit nicely in my 65L osprey aura and stayed warm even when damp
Loved this bag. Keeps me toasty warm and has lot of extra shoulder room.
