Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must have for tubeless tires! I am running tubeless for the first time. Now I don't have to worry about having to run down to the corner store to put air to seat the bead on the rim. This can go camping with me and I don't need 120v power for a noisy air compressor. The 5' air hose is awesome. This is built like a tank. It has a solid platform for when pumping air. It doesn't feel cheap or flimsy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This or an air compressor? That is the question. Since I already own an air compressor, my choice for inflating tubeless tires is really between this, or the PrestaFlator air compressor attachment for over $100 less. If you need portability this wins, but it's not necessarily less effort. While I WAS able to inflate my tubeless setup with this, I didn't always get it on the first try, and it takes about 40 pumps to charge the chamber up to 160 psi. Those last 10 pumps are a sweat breaker! I think my compressor delivers a more forceful burst, which means you're more likely to have to use soapy water to get a good seal with this. For me, I think I'll be returning this because I just don't see myself inflating tubeless outside of my own garage, but if you want to be able to seat tubeless out on the trailhead, I recommend this pump.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Gauge not accurate I bought this with the intention on using it to inflate my tubeless tires. I haven't got the chance to do that yet. When using the floor pump in the inflate mode, the gauge can be off by 5 to 10 PSI. I do not know if this is supposed to be normal. I am comparing the reading on the gauge with a SKS Airchecker digital pressure gauge. It is possible the SKS Airchecker digital pressure gauge is off but it's within a couple of PSI of my other Blackburn floor pump.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from For tubeless setup at home Fulfilled my expectations. Could setup a tyre (Schwalbe Thunder Burt) which I was not able to do with CO2 cartridges or a standard floor pump. About 40 strokes needed to pump up the pressure vessel to 10bar. At the end it gets quite hard, though.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A must for tubeless setup! After struggling with beading some tires lately and not wanting to burn through C02 cartridges every time, I purchased this pump. I didn't bother reading the instructions but the first couple of attempts, it didn't bead the tire. I soon realized you need to take the PSI all the way up to max, then release the valve to get enough airflow for it to work. No more frustration and wasted time when I switch tires now. Worth the investment.

When you connect an already pressurized tire, does the pressure significantly drop more than with a standard pump? When not using the booster, do you need to pressurize just the tire, or both tank and tire?

Asked by: niropa
We have received no feedback that this bike pump loses any more air than a normal bike pump.
