Very stable fishing Yak
Having sold my large fishing boat, I still wanted to fish local lakes and rivers and maybe have an accomplice. This Yak works well - very stable, lots of space for stuff, and comfortable. I added lots of fishing oriented parts - small combo GPS-fishfinder, 8 rod holder pockets, 4 rod holders, 2 hatches, better seat, and various rigging/securing devices to keep things in the Yak. I designed a set of rubber wheels to fit in a bike rack so I could load and unload the Yak alone without wrecking the car. This is not a light Yak - 74# plus what ever you add. And the Yak has a keel and stepped hull so it needs a properly designed/modified cart for ground transport. Fun!
