[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Warm jacket, as it turned out but however, in extremely cold temps (below 30 degrees), you can kind of feel a bit of the cold permeate the coat. If this jacket came with a hood and thicker, extra layers like with jackets in the past that has omniheat, I think this coat would be unbeatable in all types of cold weather.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this jacket in the ivory as a gift. It was warm and fit comfortably, but there were little details I hadn't noticed in the images before that I didn't care for and ultimately returned. The jacket has a TD 590 logo printed at the collar, which means if the jacket isn't zipped up, it's noticeable. Also, I kept noticing dark spot, which I thought might be dirt, but after holding the jacket up to the light, I realized there are dark feathers throughout that are noticeable under the thin, light fabric. Recommend getting a darker material if you don't mind the logo placement.
I ordered this jacket on 2/2 and received it 2/9. Delayed from Reno, Nevada. You need several layers under the jacket and possibility an insulated vest. I live in the mid-atlantic area and it's been extremely cold and this jacket just won't do. Turbodown down in my opinion leads one to believe that it's for cold weather well, maybe I misunderstood the language. It's a light jacket for lightweight temperatures. Not worth the money
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this jacket as part of my layering system because I wanted something that could fit comfortably under my outer layer but still keep me warm in -20* and colder. We’ve been in the -40s and so far this has worked just as I had hoped it would. The jacket is lightweight and not bulky. I’m sure it’ll be great on its own too.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for my wife. She overall likes the jacket. It's lightweight. Runs a little bigger than other Columbia jackets and vests she has, so a little more roomy than she anticipated.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice jacket and does keep you very warm. However noticed not very durable. Noticed the cuffs around the sleeves has started to fray. I purchased a little over a month ago.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lightweight and breathable, but provides enough warmth for everyday cool weather wear! Perfect gift for our teen daughter!
