Perfect for short trips, lots of compartments, love absolutely love the zipper in the middle, makes for easy access to things you need right away, adjustable fit, I am very happy with this backpack!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not yet had a chance to use the pack, so I will review how I got it rather than the pack itself. I started hiking and backpacking in the late 1960's and continue it now. At first with canvas bags or welded aluminum tubing frames. Packs are now atmospherically better than the early ones and Osprey seems to me to have led the way in quite many of the improvements. Eventually I decided that Osprey packs were by far the best available and use them now almost exclusively. So, I have had many opportunities to use the "almighty guarantee" which until now meant various minor repairs to the few packs sent in over many years since the 1990's. This pack under review was sent to me when the repair crew decided that the well used more than 20 year old pack I sent in for a torn shoulder strap connection could not be repaired. The pack is a beefier modernized version of the worn out pack I sent them and I think it is extraordinary that they made a replacement in this situation. The guarantee seems to be completely sincere. Even so, I wont send in any more worn out packs. Don't want to take advantage of such a generous policy.
Quality produce, brilliant design, tough, lightweight and comfortable to wear.
Yet to hike with this bag but so far the quality speaks for itself…
