Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clean-looking, super bright taillight! I've used the Cygolite HotShot 2.0 in the past, and was thinking about getting a HotShot Micro, but then I saw the Hotrod 50... It is much better looking on the bike, and can be moved from bike to bike much more easily, because it has no permanent bracket. The light had several modes, including a couple that work great on group rides: a slow fade in and out of full brightness, and a low steady mode. The modes are controlled by a switch on the side is easy to find and operate, even while riding. The light is very bright, and is less directional than the other Cygolite taillights. And needles to say, it features USB charging with a standard micro-USB cable. Overall, I love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really bright rear light Bought this and have used it most days since. It is a very bright light, easily seen in daylight. It has various settings, as do a lot of rear lights. This one always starts on the setting you had it last. No mucking about hitting the switch several times until you get to the setting you want.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great visibility in day/nite I bought this to increase my daytime visibility on commutes to work and I definitely noticed drivers yielding sooner and keeping a distance. Tested against a full SUV taillight at night and it was visibly brighter. It's increased my confidence riding alongside drivers in the bike- unfriendly streets here. All round great value, quality (USA made) and features for the 40-60$ range. Being visible greatly reduces your risk for collisions from unfriendly drivers and a good taillight is a must!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quick and Easy Very easy to use and install - or move to other bikes if you have more than one. Mounting on a seat stay eliminates the light being blocked by a saddle bag. Light is very bright. The six modes of flash cover every situation that I can see riding in. Great product

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Light for Day or Night I've tried several other brands and none are as visible during the day and night. Charges very quickly. Not a complaint but a point of consideration to a potential buyer is placement. Although recommended for ac seat post to had to mount it on the seat stay (left side) because there was not enough space on the seat post and the under seat bag for my spare tube blocked the view. The elastic band is very easy to use and makes changes to other bikes a snap. Charges very quickly and has several options for flashing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super bright Nobody will miss you with this. I use the strobe, attaches easily to seat post, simple controls and USB make it a keeper. Though easy removal makes it a security concern for street parking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Taillight I hope every ride going forward is like my first ride with this light. I think this is the first time in a very long time that cars actually slowed down and made space while on a narrow country road. I felt like I was in France where the respect for the cyclists is so much higher. This bright light is doing exactly what I had hoped.

The lowest setting on this light called "Low Flash" will last up to 100 hours on a single charge. While charging, the unit will flash red and once fully charged it will show a solid red.
