Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great helmet mounted light I have recently started mountain biking at night, so I was wanting to get a helmet mounted light to supplement my bar mounted light. The bar light is a Light and Motion TAZ 1200 that I originally purchased for road commuting. I looked at Light and Motion and did not feel they had a solid helmet mounted solution. The NiteRider is a perfect blend of brightness, weight and run time for my needs. My rides rarely go longer than 3 hours and so far, this light can be run at the second highest setting without any difficulty making it through those rides. The button on the head unit is easy to feel even with gloves on so I can change the brightness depending on the terrain.
