Beware sizing

I bought a size 45, which is what I usually wear in European sizing (11.5 - 12 US). These are oddly sized and the box says it is 10.5 US and feels like it. Be sure to check the size conversion for this product. Do not order your usual European size.

Could not be happier!

I was looking for casual cycling shoes that had soles stiffer than running shoes - without spending a fortune. I also have wide feet - just try finding a "W" size cycling shoe! These are perfect !! They are wide, they are inexpensive, they are comfortable, and I can walk in them. I didn't think I was going to be able to find what I wanted. I couldn't be happier.

Comfortable and efficient peddlers

I switched from traditional SPD pedals to the Click’r style (PD-T421) with these shoes and am very pleased. The easier release is a safety plus and for casual to moderately speedy rides, I don’t see any disadvantages. The shoes work fine as well as my older Pearl Azumi shoes on these pedals. They have good stiffness in the right place on the sole for energy transfer - yet still walk comfortably. Another advantage of these shoes is that the tread is not very aggressive. When on a bike without SPD pedals, they don’t hang up slipping in and out of clips or Power Grips pedals.

Fast like a marsupial

I got these because everyone said clipping in is the way to go. And everyone is right! I usually need a shoe with a high volume toe area and these fit great. I also got the multi/easy release clips so I might not break my oldish gimpy neck. I'm very pleased and definitely faster on my dual sport bike. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is I don't love the icky green trim.

Fit is great, Looks great.

The best part is I can walk in them without the limp from the metal on the bottom touching the ground. They are comfortable on and off the bike. Plus they look great being the same color as my bike.

Great on bike not for walking

I bought these as a replacement for some hardcore triathlon shoes that I got on super sale. The triathlon shoes were great for exercise riding but I needed something for work that I wouldn't have to stow when I got to my destination. My job is very mobile. I may be at 3 or 4 places in one day and I usually need to do a lot of walking when I get where I am going. The Click'R shoes work great on the bike. They click in and out of the pedals with such ease that I barely notice it most of the time. Where the Click'R needs a lot of work is in the walking department. The shoe fits my foot well but they feel like walking on concrete blocks. There seems to be no padding to cushion my step and my knees are hurting after only a few minutes. I'd only ever experienced this with very low end athletic shoes and most dress shoes, the latter of which generally puts more attention into its outward appearance than its comfort level. Overall, I'd say these shoes are great if you're only riding to one place and don't need to move around much when you get there. But if you need to walk as much as you ride then it's perhaps better to bring another pair of shoes with you.

Great summer shoe

I was initially worried about a lace-up bike shoe, but it isn't a problem. As the weather is getting colder, the breathability of the uppers isn't a positive, but I'm sure I'll appreciate it next summer. They click into my pedals easily but I have no trouble walking in them. The only reason they don't rate five stars was that installing the cleats was awkward.

Work well on and off the bike

After decades riding a road bike with clipless pedals requiring me to clatter around when off the bike, I have gotten a touring bike and bought these shoes with Shimano pedals. It's refreshing and convenient to unseat and walk around unimpeded by cleats. I am pleased with these shoes and they are comfortable.

no cleats!

purchased online. good size and fit but box was slightly damaged, one shoe had tissue removed from it and there were no cleats in the box. the internal sticker that covers the cleats from inside was there, as were cleat fitting instructions, but, alas, no cleats.
