Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect I have used in on a trip to Bocas del Toro, Panama and Busan, South Korea. It easily fits my passport, drivers license and ATM cards, cash, iphone 7, earbuds, keys, and lip balm. It's perfect for getting through the airport and keeping necessary things close by during flight. It was so wonderful not to worry about carrying a purse around as I was taking boat taxis in Bocas or hopping on and off public transportation in Busan. I can't wait to travel with it again. It's also perfect for dog walks!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fanny pack Bought this for backpacking. My pack doesn't have hip belt pockets, I was going to buy some to add on but then I heard an experienced backpacker talk about how he uses a fanny pack. I am so glad he passed that on. I love this fanny pack, it's a little on the smaller side but it fit all of my snacks, small knife, energy chews, and even a vile of peppermint oil for my bad allergies. Worth the money, especially for Patagonia and their efforts to leave a smaller footprint. If you are thinking about buying I would check it out in store to make sure it's a good size for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cute and Comfy The only thing I don't like about it is how hard it was to choose a color! Does exactly what's expected. Probably won't fit the hips of a plus-sized woman. I usually wear a size large or 10/12 and I'm on the upper end of its capacity not much room for anyone larger.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly Recommend - lightweight, fun color Many fanny packs are made with heavy material and combined with the things I put in it, it would be too heavy for me to carry around my waist. When I came across this Patagonia Mini Hip Pack, it peaked my interest. This hip pack actually folds up. What I love most about this hip pack is the color and weight. I got then Craft Pink color. This hip pack folds up into a little pouch for storage. If you try to fold and tug it into a pouch too many times, you might end up tearing it. The pouch is basically the interior zip pocket inside the main compartment. It's where I store my cash, driver's license, credit cards, etc... without having to carry a wallet. The main compartment is large enough to fit my cell phone with a chunky case (6.25 x 3.5 x 0.75 in), and my thick keycase. It has plenty of room for keys, phone, and a granola bar/protein bar. The back has a thick mesh padding to provide comfort against your body. The outer pocket I use for doggie waste bags. It's big enough for me to put a roll of waste bags and some papers (like a park trail map) when I go on a light hike with my dogs. The waist strap is made a like web material to match the weight of the material used to make the hip pack. I wish the material was thicker.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome First time every buying a mini hip pack. I was able to utilize this product in many ways. I took it to my Mexico trip and I was very pleased with the product. I was able to store my passport, cash, sunscreen and gum, all at the same time! This product makes it convenient and easy to carry important items with you rather than storing them in your pocket.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for slackpacking Got this a couple of weeks ago, used it in my latest trip. Was smaller than I thought it'd be, but I held my wallet, phone, and a couple of Clif bars easily. I also attached my water to it, so it was convenient for what I wanted it for. Light as a feather, packs into itself when not being used.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Light, but not Durable If you're traveling running around for a short time, then it is not bad. But if you are using it for an extended travel trip, then it is not durable enough. Mine only lasted 6 weeks before it got holes in the front zipper pouch. It proceeded to get worse as time went on, after 2 months of constant use/travel, it was shot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great for running, hiking and for daily use I love this fanny pack! Its light, perfect size for all the sports and for personal use as well. I recently ran a full marathon with it. It fit my iPhone 7Plus, lip balm, snacks, bloks, sun block. the only issue i had was the straps. I had to tighten the straps more than few times during the run.

I'm going hiking soon and my backpack doesn't have any hip or shoulder pockets. I wish it did. Would this pack fit the following items: 2 food bars, small snack, sunscreen, lip balm, knife, lighter, headlamp, compass, bug spray, & hand sanitizer?

Asked by: Hiker3977
It depends on the size of the items. This hip pack has a 1 liter capacity, so if you can fit all those items into a 1 liter Nalgene, then they should fit.

Would it fit a GoPro camera with a small handle?

Asked by: laurenannef
A GoPro camera does fit inside this hip pack. However, due the variety of handle sizes available we cannot say for certain that the complete assembly is going to fit. As a reference, this pack measures 7" x 5.5" x 2".

It appears from some photos that the material see-through, especially for items in the front pouch, such as a wallet or cash. Is the material see-through, and are any colors more see-through than others (such as black)?

Asked by: Spanish Jam
Due to the ultralight materials used in the Lightweight Travel Mini Hip Pack, you may be able to see some shadows or outlines from the items inside the pack. This only occurs with the lighter colors, like Patchwork and Epic Blue, but you cannot see through the darker colors.
