Swix T77 Iron

Works pretty well. Couldn't ask for much more. Fast warm up, consistent temp hold and fast snowboard wax job. I had not waxed anything myself since I Ski raced years ago, seems much better than anything I had before.

Broke one year and two weeks after purchased

We bought this last year in January and lightly used it. This year, it simply stopped working - just a few weeks after REI's one year return policy. This item was lightly and properly used. It worked great when it was working and then simply did not.

Didn't reach temperatures advertised

Was hoping to use this to wax skis and snowboards. Tested with multiple temperature tools. Temperature only ranged from 120F to 160F. Advertised temperatures were 176F-338F. I will be returning for a different brand.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do

I bought this iron at the beginning of the 2022-2023 season after spending way too much money paying others to hand wax my skis, and instead opted to learn how to do it myself. Many waxed skis later, it's still going strong! It's one of the more affordable options and REI's return policy is the only way it could be better.
