Best Stomp Pad made!

This is the best Stomp pad out there. I bought one 30 years ago and it never failed. After purchasing a new board, I knew exactly what to buy! I was thrilled that “my old reliable” outfitter REI had them for sale. I grabbed a few of them for my wife and both children. What I like most about them, other than it’s longevity, is that it has very aggressive traction. The spikes are larger than most other stomp pads. So no matter how much snow gets packed in, the spikes seem to always protrude. I don’t know how I would ever get off a chairlift without these!

Have owned two of these - solid product

I've owned two of these - used both of them on the same board. I used to be a certified instructor, had them placed such that I could teach lessons switch and use either of the stomp pads depending upon whether students were goofy or regular. Recommended - the pad is large and is VERY well-made, such that the sides are higher, and the center is lower, causing your foot to tend towards the center where it gets more grip. You can skate one-footed really well with these. Recommended. I've seen some people complaining regarding problems with adhesive on the backs of these, but I never had any problems with mine in the 6+ years I had the two of them attached to my board.

I have never had a better stomp pad

A friend clipped my board and crashed as we were getting off the lift. I ended up breaking my rear binding. I made it all the way down the groomer run with just this! I cut mine down the lines and spread the spikes evenly over the width of my board. This really is the best functioning stomp pad there is.

This Stomp Pad Does The Trick!!

I can't say enough great things about this stomp pad! I was always falling when exiting steep lifts, but with this pad my boot stays locked in place and make me feel so much more confident on my board! I've used lower profile pads and they just don't work and get covered with snow. It's not the prettiest stomp pad...and I was reluctant to purchase for that reason, but it's virtually invisible because it's clear. It's a really cool and well made item!! I can't LOVE this enough!!

My favorirte Stomp pad...

Of course some people say they don't need them, but I have a hard time standing on a board (usually while skating) without a stomp pad. This is by far my favorite stomp pad because it stays put and the spikes are big enough that they don't get packed with snow. If you find you like having a stomp pad, I highly recommend trying this one. Happy Trails!!

Very Durable and Effrective

I had this stomp pad on the board I bought over 20 years ago and it lasted until just a few years ago (when my son managed to somehow break the stomp pad off, break the binding safety leash, and break the buckle release on my new bindings, all on his first time out!). I would buy them again in a heartbeat for my new board.

Quality product.

Quality stomp pad. I had no issues with adhesion. I did not have a hair dryer, but kept it near my space heater for 30 minutes before applying. It works well and it super grippy on my boots, however since you are not attached I still struggle to keep good control while skating.

The ideal ‘everyman’s’ stomp pad.

I love how much control the stiff urethane spikes give me as I’m getting off of the chair lift and my back foot isn’t strapped in. Application is also simple, the adhesive sticks fast and strong and withstands wet conditions with ease.

Stomp pad

While the expectation is that all boards should come with a stomp pad (showing my age), this pad works great and does not disappoint.
