Its not a Werner, but that doesn't make it less
It is true that its not a Werner Paddle, but that being said after doing a side by side comparison between this and the Werner Equivalent -Tybee, I prefer this one. It was lighter and truthfully works Amazing compared to what I had, which was a no-name fiberglass paddle that came with the kayak. For the price you simply couldn't beat it for a High angle paddle. When comparing it to low-angle you definitely see a substantial price change, however that's the equivalent of comparing apples to oranges, both are fruits but taste completely different. High and Low angle paddles are two different configurations for two different styles/tastes of paddling.
Great lightweight vertical paddle, slight flutter
Bought this to replace my stingray paddle when I bought Wilderness Systems Aspire 105. I needed a little more horsepower to get going, and my paddling style tends naturally towards a more upright stance. This does the trick nicely. I love Aquabound's Posi-lok system as always, and this is a very lightweight durable paddle. I do notice a little bit of flutter if I choke up on my grip just a hair too far, so it's definitely more finicky than some other more expensive paddles I've tried. However, at this price point, it was something I was willing to learn to adjust to. I did prefer it's weight and feel to the comparable Tybee. Overall it's a great paddle that I would highly recommend.
Sweet paddles!
These are really top notch paddles. They are light weight and strong with just a little flex and very comfortable. The posi-lock system makes adjusting the paddles to just the right angle super easy.
This paddle will move a lot of water.
I had the Aqua-Bound Sting Ray paddle.It's a very good paddle but I wanted more. The Manta Ray Has more surface area & moves a lot of water & I can not tell the difference in using it.It's no harder to paddle than the other one.I just know I'm getting more go with the same effort. Love this paddle!!!

Great high angle paddle. Moves more water than the stingray. The aqua bound plastic two piece connector is easy to use and locks in place solid. This paddle arrived before the email saying it shipped. Super fast shipping and great customer service.
